This is the space where you can share your ideas and feedback about Shopware 6.

How it works:

- Connect your Shopware Account or register with your email
- Use the search or choose a category for your idea to check if it has been submitted already
Upvote existing ideas, as opposed to creating multiple similar requests. Comment an idea to share extra details.
- If you create a new idea: Be clear with your idea; provide examples or even screenshots
- The more activity and votes an idea has, the higher the chance it will be implemented

  1. There is currently no flow/trigger for the expiry of subscriptions or the renewal of subscriptions.
    So far, this is only possible via time-controlled flows, but this is not very practical for customers.
    It would be essential for customers to be able to create a flow for a subscription that is about to expire and a flow for notifying them of the renewal of a subscription.

  2. I created this pull-request to add the 'fetchpriority="high"' attribute for the cover image on the product detail page. (https://github.com/shopware/shopware/pull/3608)
    Simply adding this little attribute will improve the LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) score on all product detail pages.

  3. We'd like to have the buy box on the product page multiple times: At the beginning and end of the page.

    Unfortunately, if we duplicate the buy box, an error occurs that it is only allowed once.

    Some other ecommerce platforms allow that and it would be great to have this in Shopware.

  4. It is currently not possible to manually create an order for a subscription in the admin. This is only possible via the frontend by the customer themselves, but an option to create a subscription in the admin for a customer would be an important function.

    It should be possible to create a new order with a subscription via the Orders or Subscriptions tab in the admin, just as it is possible for normal orders with non-subscription products.

  5. Implement triggers that validate on specific fields / entries within a (custom)-form.

    For example: If field1 (checkbox) is true / checked, then perform action xy on customers.

  6. Payment methods currently have a white frame on the main page of the store. This is not the case for shipping methods and therefore results in a different appearance.

  7. At the moment, products are shown in a "grid view." To be more efficient and order products faster, it would help to have a "list view." Just list all products among each other, with just a small picture, SKU, price, and amount; that´s it. Like it is in the existing B2B Suite.

  8. To simplify ordering process when purchasing several variations of one product, such as a USB flash drive in various colors and capacity, you can use a Matrix Form. The matrix form is available only when a product has one or two attributes.

  12. The creation date of the customer account should also be displayed within the customer and the customer overview.

    It should also be possible to filter according to the date or, for example, the condition "older than {number} years/months/days" using the Rule Builder in order to control discount campaigns.

  13. There have to be two types of admin users:
    1. Super admin with all privelegies
    2. Admin user

    The super admin can see and edit all entities.

    The admin user can see/use all public entites (for example categories) where the userId is NULL. He can create private entities, only visible for himself or super admins, the userId is the current admin user.

    Why this idea makes sense?
    Technically we just add a new context variable like the salesChannelId or languageId, the admin user can manage his own product sets without any risk to delete other products.

  14. If an extension installs data in Shopware I have to remember the exactly IDs for uninstalling. A cleaner solution would be, to define an ownership for the data. If I uninstall the extension, the data can be automatically removed. This could be a technical name or the plugin_id with foreign key. So the plugin can be only uninstalled if the referenced data is also removed. This data could be write protected too, so the shop owner can't delete for example important mail templates or media folders.

  15. It would be nice to have the option of copying elements from the shopping experiences and using them in a different place.

    Example: We have the "XY" section in the start page - this should be filled and customised once and then copied in the next step and used in another page.

  17. Currently the settings for a CMS block apply to each viewport.

    It should be possible to set different settings for each viewport.

    Example: product slider
    On desktop, articles should have a minimum width of 300px.
    For mobile, however, a minimum width of 100px.

    This can currently only be implemented if the CMS block is created separately for each viewport. This causes more effort and is not optimally solved.

  18. If you want to assign products in the category configuration, they are only displayed with their name but without a product number.
    For products with the same or similar names, it can be difficult to assign the correct products.

    The product numbers should also be displayed here.

  19. Used Shopware Version: 6.5.8.4

    Description: We noticed that country names are only translated into German and English.

    This became clear after we installed a third-party plugin (country of delivery selection).

    If you select a language other than English or German, nothing can be seen in the country of delivery selection.

    Previous analyses / points checked:

    Looked under Settings --> Countries and noticed that the respective countries have no translation.

    Environment: 6.4.20.2 until 6.5.8.4

    Expected result: Afghanistan, for example, is also translated into French

    Actual result: Countrys only getting translated in German and English

  20. The rights for productprice can be assigned under users and roles in the detailed privileges.
    However, product
    price includes the complete pricing, so it is not possible, for example, to assign rights only for the basic price so that a user does not have access to the extended prices, for example.
    It would be user-friendly if there was a further division here than putting everything in product_price.
