This is the space where you can share your ideas and feedback about Shopware 6.

How it works:

- Connect your Shopware Account or register with your email
- Use the search or choose a category for your idea to check if it has been submitted already
Upvote existing ideas, as opposed to creating multiple similar requests. Comment an idea to share extra details.
- If you create a new idea: Be clear with your idea; provide examples or even screenshots

  1. A short form of the URLs to the products is needed in order to be able to create the URL automatically for QR codes in flyers, advertisements and print products in general. This URL should contain the product number. 
There are plugins for this, but they only support REST notation. 

    Ideally, Shopware can do both in the core:

    Standard RFC 3986
    https://www.xxxx.de/?sku=12345678

    REST notation
    https://www.xxxx.de/12345678

    The print production software InBetween requires the URL in the standard RFC 3986.

  2. If you expand by a certain property (e.g. "color"), only those property options should be preselected in the listing article. If there are other properties (e.g. "Size") in addition to the color, all expanded items will automatically have an additional size preselected. However, it would be better to pre-select only the "Color" and to display a "Details" button in the listing instead of the "Add to cart" button, so that the user has to select the - in this case "Size" - himself before adding the item to the cart.

  3. We missing a country field on order overview. It shoulb be possible to display countries of delivery and billing address on order overview.

  4. On event "Order-Placed" the email order confirmation is send to the customer.
    It is NOT possible to stop this email, as it is send outside flow-builder.
    Only after this event the flow-builder can be used to do some action.

    It would be better and more logical, to have this event already through flow-builder. This would give the possibility to react to the order content, payment, etc. and give more specialized order-confirmations.

  5. If you want to change color settings in the theme, by default no actual colors nor color codes are displayed.
    To improve this you should:
    1. show the actual color next to the default values.
    2. show the actual HTML color codes (hexadecimal codes) instead of "$sw-color-brand-primary".
    3. add a button "Reset to default values".

    This would make it much easier to see if you are actually at the right setting in the theme to get the change you desire in the theme frontend.
    This would save a lot of time in adjustments.

  7. Sometimes it is necessary to make the customers additional information or files available. These should be available to the customer in the customer account.

    It is therefore necessary to be able to add any documents to orders.

  8. We sometimes have the same layouts selected as templates in some categories. In a few category pages content blocks are not filled. But then there are big gaps. So if the content is empty, the space between the blocks should decrease automatically.

  9. The possibility to correct the Email should be just as possible as the change of addresses. It happens again and again that typos creep in when entering the email. These can no longer be corrected during the final check by the customer.

    Up to now there is the setting "Enter email twice", but this is cumbersome for the customer and most of the time the email is simply copied into the 2nd field.

  10. Currently, when you install Shopware, the country and tax configuration is very basic. This is of course because there is no "right" state that covers every scenario for every shop and this should be looked at and configured by every merchant depending on their circumstances.

    However, currently, this requires touching up every single country you plan to do business in individually, which is a lot of work.

    Most shops would probably be able to deactivate taxes for all countries in general and then touch up the ones where they cannot do this - this would be a lot less work.…

  12. A super nice feature ..

    It would be very good to get the possibility to see the whole name of the rules that are used. Either the name listed or shown when you hover over. (this applies across all admin)

  13. Let's assume I want to add a plugin which adds a slider with images to the frontend. These images have to be different depending on which language is set for the shop. If the customer changes the language in the frontend a different image should be displayed.
    There is no way to configure something like that in a comfortable way at the moment as far as I'm aware of.

    So the idea would be to either make the plugin setting values translatable or make media files translatable.

  14. In the promotions you can create "Customer rules, Shopping cart rules, Order rules, Product rules". But not every selected rule condition fits to the selected type of rule.

    So you can create rules with conditions, that are not executed in the promotions. This results in errors without error messages.

    Therefore, only Rule Builder conditions should be available that match the type of rule.

  15. It would be good to have a way to configure themes and child themes per sales channel instead of having to create individual child themes for each sales channel. This would keep the overview better and reduce the effort of configuration.

  16. At the moment, you can only choose one digital product from every digital product in the same order process.

    But if you want sell f.e. concert cards as digital product, you want to sell more than one card per purchase.

    Just like physical products, you should be able to increase the number for the product.

  17. Currently, if you use a Dynamic Product Group in Cross Selling, you can sort the items by name, price and release date. If you use the same product group for multiple products in the same category, you will end up with the same products in the cross selling slider. It would be better to use a random sorting order so that customers will see different products while browsing.

  18. As a shop-owner i want to keep track on which orders were paid with which payment method.
    This should be visible in the order list-view in the admin.
    It could help the shop-owner to designate the most used payment methods and grant bonuses on them for example or it could also help in identifying which payment methods create the most problems and therefore need the most "maintenance".

  19. The delivery date cannot be adjusted before dispatch. Since we want to send documents later, we would like to adjust the delivery date so that the customer does not receive incorrect data.
