Background:
We frequently use the admin interface to search for Shopping Experiences, customers, or orders.
Problem:
When entering a search term and clicking on a result (e.g., opening a CMS page), then navigating back, the previous search is lost. You are returned to the start of the listing (e.g., page 1), even if you were originally on page 4 or deeper.
This behavior disrupts navigation and makes it difficult to work with larger data sets.
Wish / Recommendation:
We suggest implementing persistent search memory, so that:
The search term remains filled in after navigating back.
The user returns to their previous result page.
This would streamline workflows across many areas of the admin and improve efficiency for high-volume users.
