Such a function is highly relevant in terms of providing a complete activity history in the admin area. Not only would such a function significantly increase traceability in the event of unexplained changes, it would also greatly improve transparency within the shop team and speed up troubleshooting considerably. Changes in areas such as categories, layout assignments, products & prices, and the rule builder & flows are particularly critical in this regard.

Currently, there is a risk that using SEO templates like {{ category.translated.name|lower }} in Twig for SEO URLs leads to duplicate URLs when multiple categories share the same name, e.g., "Router > Zubehör" and "Drucker > Zubehör". This causes SEO conflicts and URL generation issues as Shopware does not currently provide automatic prevention or warnings for such duplications.
The following improvements are proposed:
- An automatic check during the indexing process or URL creation that detects when a duplicate URL would be generated
- Display of a warning or error message as soon as such a duplication occurs, so administrators can take action promptly
- Optionally, an automatic suffix addition to the duplicate URL, e.g., "zubehoer-2", to avoid manual intervention.
- Additionally, a warning or hint could be provided immediately upon changing or editing the SEO template, notifying the user of potential duplications before indexing.
These enhancements would make SEO URL management more robust and prevent instances where duplicate SEO URLs are created due to identical category or product names, which currently requires manual fixes by shop administrators.
