Quantity-based surcharges in Custom Products
Current Situation / Problem:
Custom Products allow merchants to offer additional services or configurations (e.g. sawing, drilling, processing) with fixed surcharges per selected option.
These surcharges are currently static and independent of the ordered quantity of the main product. While tiered pricing can be configured on the product level, it cannot be applied to Custom Product options or their surcharges.
Concrete Use Case
A merchant sells steel beams (e.g. HEB / HEA) and offers optional processing services via Custom Products.Example: Option “Sawing”
- Sub-options: Fixed cut, Center cut, Mitre cut
- Current behavior: fixed surcharge, e.g. €15 per cut
Desired behavior:…

Advance payment for subscription for a fixed subscription period
The following use case occurs very frequently in our business model:
A person gives away a subscription for 3, 6, or 12 months. The giver does not want to pay for each individual shipment separately, but rather pay the total amount once at the beginning, and the subscription ends after the prepaid period.4 votes -
AI: Productstreams / Crossselling
Little has happened since the introduction of AI.
The use of AI to generate customer-specific product streams for cross-selling would be indispensable and a major step forward. For example, based on order history. This is very important for the customer.
Cross-selling is currently very rigid. AI could be used to analyze the customer's order and then make specific suggestions. This would be a huge step and benefit for customers and a game changer.

Import/Export Cheapest price (last 30 days)
There should be a way to import/export the cheapest price (last 30 days).
There is a regulationPrice in the price field for this purpose, but it cannot currently be mapped.

Custom fields as filters in categories
In Shopware 5 the free text fields could be directly used as catgory filter and the filters have been configurable (Anzeige Modus). That means the customer could define how a selection of value shall be in the frontend (Slider, Checkbox, Simple, Multiselection).
The second thing: Using custom fields cannot be done directly. You have to add a property, then it can be used with the limits of the usual behaviour of catalogue > properties.
It would be great if this will be easier to use custom field in future a filter criteria.

Allow the use of other time units for product restock time
For some products the restock time is the time to produce or import new products. In some industries this is not a question of days but weeks.
Currently the customer has to use 90 days instead of three months or 12 weeks.
In regular delivery times there is a unit to specify the numbers. Perhaps it is possible to add the same for restock time?

Customers also bought
There used to be the ‘Customers also bought’ function in Shopware 5, which automatically displayed products that were bought by customers who also bought the product that was called up.
There is already the option to display such products via cross-selling, but not automatically, which would be a helpful improvement.

Show regulation price in listings only if there ist a discount
Our suggestion In order to comply with both the PAngV and a clean UX, a small piece of logic would be useful:
If regulationPrice == price.unitPrice → no output. (This happens very often in practice.)
This would both comply with the legal situation and meet actual customer expectations.
- Legal situation (PAngV § 11) According to § 11 of the Price Indication Regulation (PAngV), the ‘lowest total price of the last 30 days’ only becomes mandatory if the retailer advertises a price reduction. It clearly states: ‘If goods are offered to consumers with reference to a price…

Placeholder system for properties & custom fields
The desired function allows the use of placeholders such as
{{ product.properties.<name> }} or
{{ product.customFields.<fieldName> }}
in various product fields. These should then be automatically replaced with the respective values.
✅ Potential benefits for retailers:
- Reduced manual maintenance effort
- Consistent and accurate product data
- Particularly helpful with many variants or large catalogs
- Works in the cloud without individual template adjustments2 votes -
Product delivery time vs. shipping method delivery time
The delivery time of a product overwrites the delivery time of the shipping method. However, this is not helpful if the delivery time of the shipping method exceeds the delivery time of the product, as a delivery time that is not possible is then displayed.
It would be helpful if the higher delivery time is used in each case.14 votes -
Include product manufacturer in essential characteristics
It would be helpful if the manufacturer was available in the essential characteristics, or more precisely in the product information.
This would allow it to be displayed with the other characteristics in the shopping cart without having to create an additional field that displays the manufacturer in the shopping cart. The manufacturer is one of the important features of a product and is therefore also part of this information.

Product overview (Admin): Filter by all product settings
The product overview should be filtered for all items that can be added to products. This is important, for example, to pass on graduated prices to other marketplaces.
All product functions should therefore be available.
Examples
- Sale
- Delivery time
- Free shipping
- Visibility
- Weight
and much more.5 votes -
Inconsistent Stock Management Between Parent and Variant Products
I have an item that comes in two versions, one physical and one digital.
I can still change the stock level in ParentProduct as the main product, but it has no effect on the stock level of the physical variant (the digital one has 0 anyway, because it is infinite).
Either this should also be inheritable, so that you can set the stock level in the parent product without having to go into the physical variant, or it should be greyed out in the parent product, as it has no function anyway.Ich habe einen Artikel, der hat zwei Varianten,…

VAT calculation for orders from abroad
Customer experience:
"I created an order for a customer in Croatia. Croatia has 25% VAT, but the final price in the shop remains the same – meaning it doesn't increase even though the tax rate is higher.
In Shopware 5, things were different; the gross price was adjusted accordingly. Now, this is no longer possible in Shopware 6 – except via a paid plugin.
It doesn't make sense to me: If the tax increases, the final price should also increase. Otherwise, I earn less. This feels wrong."The core of the problem:
- Merchants expect the gross price to depend…2 votes -
Custom product descriptions per saleschannel
It would be nice to allow inserting a custom product description per saleschannel for products. This way it would be possible to easily adjust the voice of tone and the highlighted information to my target group (ex. B2B & B2C). It could be also relevant for other text fields in the product like the title.

Customer-specific product restriction like min/max/stacking for order quantity
Customer-related product restriction such as min/max/staggered quantity per order. The values on the product are currently Global.
In the B2B case in particular, you want to be able to set the minimum or maximum quantity of this product that the customer can order per customer. As this rule can differ per customer or customer group, it cannot currently be implemented as the rule applies globally for the product.

Revision of list prices
The implementation of strikethrough prices has been poorly and even incompletely implemented. In the ITA shop, we don't have a proper way to display a sale category, as the default function here also goes to the first tab.
And independently, the in-house solution/rule for discounted items in the dynamic product groups is incredibly slow.
The host once sent me the Slow Query. If printed out, I could wallpaper at least half the room (high ceilings in an old Berlin building).
So please take a look at the topic. Anyone who has multiple sales channels and different prices within them will…

Backend: Product Filtering and Customization - Filter Value
The product filters section needs more customization and can be optimized.
Here is an example of the main shortcomings:
1 - Allow the addition of custom fields and properties.
2 - Allow the use of operators such as: "Like," "=", "And," "Or," "Starts with," etc.
3 - Allow filtering by entering multiple values in a search field.8 votes -
Language inheritance for Custom Fields
Just like other fields in the products (title, description, etc.) the custom fields should inherit the values from a parent language unless overwritten. Currently, they just remain empty.

Optionally, the net prices should remain the same, even if there are other taxes in other countries.
Currently, the net price changes if you offer products in other countries with different taxes. The gross price remains the same.
There should be an option to decide for yourself whether the net price remains the same with a variable gross price, or whether the gross price remains the same with a variable net price.
