Separate categories and landing pages for editing and assigning
Something that is not clear to us is that a category right has an influence on the landing pages and that those who are responsible for the landing pages can also make category changes.
We therefore have the following suggestion:
From the fact that both landing pages and categories can be found under the same ‘Categories’ menu item, it makes sense that both areas may also have overlapping rights. However, it makes little sense to us that editing categories and adding layouts to a landing page are controlled via the ‘Edit categories’ permission.
From our use case, we can therefore…

Extended debugging e-mail/template dispatch
Many customers customize the email templates for their shop. It often happens that certain e-mail templates are no longer sent because, for example, variables are incorrect.
Troubleshooting the cause is then very difficult and time-consuming because:
- There are no errors in the log with indications of the cause.
- The e-mail test function still works with the e-mail template because variables are ignored.
As a result, the e-mail template and the variables have to be checked with a great deal of effort and there are a lot of support tickets for this, as customers quickly reach their limits.
In order to…

Topseller based on each category
In order to display top sellers per category (e.g. as a product slider), a dedicated dynamic product group must currently be created for each category.
It is desired that within each category only top seller items are displayed that are actually assigned to that category. In this case, the items in a dynamic product group would have to be validated against the products manually assigned to a category, for example(!).

Rulebuiler condition which detects the change of payment method
Condition in the rulebuiler which determines the (non-balanced) change of payment method.
Something like: Used payment method was > Incoice > is now > prepayment
For example, in the flow builder you could influence the mails that are sent when the status changes, so that a distinction is made between manual switching (by the admin) or automated switching (by payment integrations) and the payment method change by the customer in the frontend.
Since the order also reaches the status “canceled” when the customer changes the payment method in the frontend, these mails could be prevented here, as they can be…

Improve UI and Logic for Postal Code Validation and Advanced Validation Rules
he current UI for the Postal Code settings is not intuitive and may confuse users. The "Advanced Validation Rules" option can only be enabled after enabling "Postal Code Validation," but there is no clear indication that these options are linked. Additionally, there is no visibility into which validation rules apply when enabling "Postal Code Validation."
Problems Identified:
Lack of clear dependency between "Postal Code Validation" and "Advanced Validation Rules."
No information on which postal code validation rules are applied by default.
Unclear if "Postal Code Required" influences the validation settings.

SAML/OAuth SSO support
In discussions with large and important customers, SAML/OAuth SSO support is repeatedly asked for, as this is sometimes required/prescribed in large companies or corperations.
In view of large companies and corporations, there should be an implementation here.

Long category names go beyond the grid.
If the category names are slightly longer, they can no longer be displayed in the fixed grid, and a scrollbar is created. As a result, you always have to scroll first to access the three dots.

Expand the Rule Builder condition: ‘Billing address: Street’ > ‘contains’
For example, to exclude the value ‘Packstation’ within the street name for payment types, the value ‘contains’ is also required there.

Be able to create new Address Snippets
Currently, there is only a predefined set of snippets, that can be selected in "Settings > Shop > Countries > 'SELECT_COUNTRY' > Address Handling" for the Address Markup.
Adding new Snippets would be great for instance to add a new snippet for the street number or to customize the Address markup as you need it.

Add possibility to change shop default language
It is not possible to change the global default language of the Shopware 6 store after installation. This often leads to frustration or unexpected problems in the management of products and translations. Changing the global default language is currently only possible via a new installation or risky DB adjustments,
Please add a function that allows you to change the default store language in the settings.

Mailer: Different SMTP data for different sales channels
More and more providers are prohibiting the sending of emails that do not come from the same domain.
However, as you can only store the access data of one domain in the mailer, this becomes a major problem as soon as you enter several sales channels with different domains.
From that moment on, not all messages can be sent or are rejected by the provider.
"mailbox unavailable\r\n 550 Sender address is not allowed.""
It should therefore be possible to configure the mailer settings for each sales channel.

Different sender email addresses for outgoing emails
Englisch:
It would be helpful if you could store multiple sender email addresses in the system settings for different purposes such as status emails, sending invoices and shipping confirmations. For example, invoices could come from the email address invoice@Example.de, but status emails could come from info@Example.de. Shipping confirmations, however, could be sent from noreply@Example.de.
It would also be helpful if you could assign a customer a second email address, which would then be automatically selected when the invoice is sent. This is particularly necessary in the B2B sector, as the invoice usually goes to a different recipient…

Manufacturer pages in the same tab
It would be useful if the shop owner could decide/set whether the link to the manufacturer's website (click on the logo/manufacturer on the product detail page) is opened externally in the new tag or in the same tab.
If a store page for the manufacturer is to be displayed instead of the manufacturer's website, this is less useful in a new tab.
Here it would be better if the owner had the option of opening the page in a new tab or in the same one

When I work in the Admin, I don't want to fall back into the overviews again and again, but to the last editing location.
When I'm in the admin and search for something in products, for example, then edit it and go back, I expect to return to the last search result and not end up in the overview.

Display of variants in product-sliders and cross sellings if assigned via dynamic product group
The display of variants within product sliders - if assigned via dynamic product groups - is based on the configuration from the storefront presentation. Even if individual variant options are explicitly assigned to the dynamic product group, it is still possible that the main product or a different variant will be displayed, unless it has been specified that the variants should be fanned out.
If I want to ensure that only certain variants are displayed in a product slider, the individual variants must currently be manually assigned to the product slider. This is because changes to the storefront display always…
