Variants not available via Dynamic Access should also be hidden on the product detail page.
If a variant is not available through Dynamic Access, it will still be displayed on the product details page. If you then select it, another variant will be selected.
There should be an option to hide unavailable variants completely so that they are no longer displayed.

This issue is hard to solve, but that's respectively the reason why it is a feature, not a bug: https://github.com/shopware/shopware/issues/15374#issuecomment-4206693561

Although this seems to be working as specified in the documentation, the behaviour is from my perspective illogical and should at least be something that can be turned on/off via settings, as suggested by other posters.

There should be at the very least a setting to enable this expected and intuitive behavior, yes. If a variant can't even be viewed in the current context, there is no point in linking to it.

There should be an option to hide variants on a product detail page, as is the case in the category listing with the main product, using the setting "Settings > Trade > Products > Hide products after clearance".
There should be a new switch there with “Hide variants from PDP after clearance,” for example.

We are experiencing the same issue and would also greatly appreciate a solution for this. Having the option to completely hide unavailable variants would be extremely helpful in improving the user experience and avoiding potential confusion for customers.
