Hello,
Thank you for your feedback and your patience with this topic!
In a first iteration, we already improved the error handling for the product module by highlighting the specific tab in which the error occurred and displaying a list of missing fields at the top of the module. In further iterations, we like to specify these messages.
In general, this topic is relevant not only for the product module but also for all kinds of user situations within the administration. We would like to work on this more generally and would love your feedback on it as well: https://feedback.shopware.com/forums/942607/suggestions/48892556.
We’ll keep you updated as things progress, and we appreciate your understanding and input!
Best,
Marie Reckendrees

We have adjusted our roadmap and removed the feature from the “Planned” status. All topics related to this idea will be incorporated into Shopware Analytics in the future.

An error occurred while saving the comment I would like to propose a new feature for Shopware 6 that could provide valuable insights to shop owners: a search query analysis tool within the Shopware backend. This feature was available in Shopware 5 and proved to be a powerful way to understand customer needs.
Proposed Feature:
The feature should allow shop owners to view a detailed analysis of search queries made via the frontend, segmented by sales channel. Key elements of the functionality include:Search Query Frequency:
Display the most common search terms entered by customers.
Include a count of how often each term was searched.
Search Results Analysis:Highlight search terms that returned no results.
This helps identify potential gaps in the product catalog.
Segmentation by Sales Channel:Provide insights per sales channel to help identify trends specific to different customer groups.
Historical Data:Allow filtering of data by time range (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly).
Benefits for Shop Owners:Identify Popular Products: Shop owners can see which products are frequently searched for and may require better promotion or increased stock levels.
Spot Missing Products: By analyzing search terms with no results, shop owners can identify gaps in their assortment and expand their offerings accordingly.
Customer Behavior Insights: Sales channel segmentation provides detailed insights into customer preferences and trends.
Data-Driven Decisions: Shop owners can optimize their product portfolio and marketing strategies based on real customer data. -

An error occurred while saving the comment It should finally be possible to create several returns within one order. Currently you can only create one return. That is far too less.
On the other hand, the return items should be automatically added back to the stock. Currently you still have to do this manually. However, if an order is placed for this return item in the meantime, there are immediate stock inconsistencies.
Creating a credit note via a return is far too complicated for this. The creation of credit notes should be urgently improved.

An error occurred while saving the comment Is it not possible to create a custom field for the manufacturer and output its content via the data mapping in a text field on the product detail page layout. I can select all standard manufacturer fields and all product custom fields but no custom fields that have been created for the manufacturer. The data mapping can only add custom fields that are directly linked to products.
Please add the function for Data Mapping of manufacturer custom fields linked to the produkt.

I would like the backend user to be able to see only certain sales channels and also have a restriction on shopping experience pages. So that user A can only edit CMS Shopping Experiences that are assigned to User A.
