Combination of discount codes from a single promotion
It is currently not possible to use individual discount codes of a promotion together.
This means, for example, if you send a customer 4 individual voucher codes with a €50 discount each so that they can redeem their €200 total discount either split up or several codes together, this will not work if the individual discount codes all come from one promotion.
However, if the individual discount codes come from 4 different promotions, the customer can redeem them in combination.
This function would be a useful extension for many customers, for example by adding a button in a promotion asking whether the codes can be redeemed together. There have already been several issue tickets about this behavior in the past, as many customers do not understand why the redemption of different promotions together works, but not of a single one.

Currently, when you want to limit the combining of promotions, there are only two options:
- Disallowing combining with ALL other promotions
- Define individual promotions that are disallowedThe difficulty arises when one tries to set up a promotion that should generally be combinable with all other promotions (like a general discount). One would have to go into ALL other promotions, potentially disable the check to disallow all other promotions, and then define all promotions manually that should not combine. Not only does this require significant effort, but it is also error-prone, since any potential combination has to be accounted for.
An improvement could be the possibility to define promotions as always combinable, irrespective of the settings of other promotions.
Another idea could be the creation of promotion groups that interact with each other in different ways, i.e. promotions within their group may not combine, but may combine with another specific group.
This would allow merchants to better control promotions without the risk of misconfiguration leading to wrong discounts for customers.

It should be possible to combine multiple percentage-based promotions/discounts, but a total maximum percentage value can be defined, so that, for example, no more than 50% discount can be applied in total.
For example:
10% + 10% + 10% + 10% + 10%
or
20% + 30%
or
5% + 15% + 30%So that, for example, an employee promotion (Corparate Benefifts) can be combined with a birthday voucher and a newsletter registration.
Currently, you have to exclude many promotions per promotion for each individual promotion that you create but want to restrict the combination. Defining the whole thing on the basis of the percentage value would only be a single definition of a maximum value.

This is now also a problem for us in the implementation of our new loyalty program. The customer should be able to combine several rewards (=vouchers). We don't want to prevent this, as they have really earned these rewards. We have a lot of customers with several open rewards. The vouchers are all in the same series.
