This is the space where you can share your ideas and feedback about Shopware 6.

How it works:

Back in Shopware 5 there was an option called "display inventory shortage in shopping cart" which - when enabled - showed a message within the offCanvas saying, that out of a requested amount, only a specific amount is left available. (For articles, where "on sale"-option (Abverkauf) is enabled).

    For example: "Unfortunately, we can no longer provide the item you requested in sufficient quantities. (10 of 20 available)."

    Please implement as an option for Shopware 6 aswell.

  2. In support tickets and in various forums you often read about problems with Shopware updates. It is not uncommon for the store (frontend and admin) to no longer be accessible after an update.

    To avoid destroying the entire store or the customer's test environment, the update should check the accessibility of the frontend/admin at the end. If, for example, the browser returns an error 500, a rollback should be triggered to restore the store to its previous state.

    Currently, the customer is often faced with an unsolvable problem in this case and loses a lot of time until the store…

  3. As asked on StackOverflow (https://stackoverflow.com/q/76454802/12553209) it would be really good to have an additional privilege in the administration to prevent admin-users from creating other admin users.
    We have such a usecase, where we want a specific user group to create new user accounts, but they shouldn't be able to create them with admin privileges.

  4. As a shop owner, I want to be able to activate B2B features for specific customers based on rules. For example, all customers from the customer group "B2B" can use "Quick orders" and "Order lists".

  6. When searching for entities in admin you are getting a list of results. After entering a entity in that list and pressing the the „back“ icon in the left corner, the you will be brought back to a list - but not the previous result list. You should be brought back to the result list…

  7. After saving changes, e.g in the theme, you should be brought back to the same place where you made the changes.

    Otherwise, you have to click there again and again when you want to try out different settings.

  9. Please place a loudspeaker symbol (or other) on the start page in the backend and preferably on each element so that you can give feedback in the menu that is just open.
    Why: The number of feedbacks and interactions (likes and comments) on feedback.shopware.com has so far been very low.

  11. We would love to get back the password generator from shopware 5 for adding new customers from administration. We don't often need it, but in case we need it, it was way more comfortable in Shopware 5.

    If there are any plans for the b2b suite, to give sales representatives the option to add new customers, it would be quite neccessary, I think.

  14. Add "Formal" Tone of Voice. In Product description automatically "Sie" is used, whereas for the checkout message there is no way to do so. Setting it to "neutral" besides "exited" or "humorous" leads to customers being addressed as "Du".

  15. Time and again, customers have the problem with the mailer. It would be helpful and less time-consuming for customers and support if there were a test function for the access data in the mailer.

    This means that it is not necessary to first look in the shopware logs or test mail templates.

    Since the error message is available in the shopware log, it could be read out by the test function and reported to the customer.

  17. If a wafi is used, smileys usually cause errors during import. An option that prevents the input or automatically converts it to special characters would be very helpful.

  18. Let's assume I want to add a plugin which adds a slider with images to the frontend. These images have to be different depending on which language is set for the shop. If the customer changes the language in the frontend a different image should be displayed.
    There is no way to configure something like that in a comfortable way at the moment as far as I'm aware of.

    So the idea would be to either make the plugin setting values translatable or make media files translatable.

  19. As a shop owner, I want to be able to let customers pay only with prepayment when their return ratio is higher than 50 %, for example. An option "return ratio" within the Rule Builder would be helpful for it.

  20. If you want to change color settings in the theme, by default no actual colors nor color codes are displayed.
    To improve this you should:
    1. show the actual color next to the default values.
    2. show the actual HTML color codes (hexadecimal codes) instead of "$sw-color-brand-primary".
    3. add a button "Reset to default values".

    This would make it much easier to see if you are actually at the right setting in the theme to get the change you desire in the theme frontend.
    This would save a lot of time in adjustments.
