  1. An advertisement in the "main article" informing that it is used as a bill of materials item would be very helpful.

  4. Currently, it is not possible to do more than:

If Option A is chosen, DO NOT ALLOW Option B etc.

More useful would be being able to do something like this:

IF Option A is chosen DO NOT ALLOW Option B(1,2,3,5,8)
Combination: Option A + Option B(4.6,7.9.10) would be possible
→ so Different Combinations can also be done

OR Enable Rule Builder Integration to hide/show some variations with conditions

  5. There is an implementation in Shopware that the Buy button (into the shopping cart) is displayed directly in the list view if the product has no variants. This is implemented in such a way that the button is displayed if the product.childCount is <=0.
However, this is problematic for international stores with multiple sales channels. For example, there are products with several variants of which not all are active in the respective sales channel. This becomes problematic if only one variant is active in the respective sales channel. In this case, there is only one variant from the user's point…

  6. First and foremost, it would be beneficial to introduce dynamic measurements, allowing for seamless conversion between metric and imperial systems. This is particularly relevant as one of our clients, who operates multiple shops, has a location in the UK.

Subsequently, a mechanism that automatically adjusts values when switching between imperial and metric systems, and vice versa, should be developed.

  7. You can filter by price in the front end.

In the Minimum price area, however, you can enter any number that makes no sense.

Here you should check whether the number makes sense and therefore cannot be greater than the maximum.

  9. In Custom Products there is an option for the customer to share his configuration.

But for the store owner there is no option to disable this function.

Many merchants do not want to have this function in the store, but they cannot disable it.

  10. If you select a product property for fanning via the storefront display, all possible variants with this product property are displayed in the storefront. If the product has other properties, these are determined by the system for the preselection and it should be possible in this case to determine the preselected non-expanded product property yourself.
    Example:
A shirt is available in S, M, L, XL and in green and blue. If you fan out by size, S, M, L, XL are displayed in the storefront, but the pre-selected colour variant is blue, for example, and this cannot be changed.

  11. See screenshot:
It is currently not possible to output the entry that is entered in the text field for the "Per unit surcharge". The following entry would be conceivable (screenshot)

    Test1 - ABC 84,03€
    Test 2 - DEF 84,03€

Perhaps a button can be added to the admin area where this function can be activated?

  12. We define price validities as our prices change on certain dates. So a price of 15,90 EUR might be valid from 1.1.2023 to 14.11.2023 and 16,90 EUR from 15.11.2023. This means that the price of 15,90 should be shown in the frontend today (on November 14th) and the price of 16,90 tomorrow. The price feed comes from an external system where price validities for price types are defined.

  13. If clearance sale is marked a badge should be shown:

    https://docs.shopware.com/en/shopware-6-en/catalogues/products#deliverability

like the same funktion "product promotion":
    https://docs.shopware.com/en/shopware-6-en/catalogues/products#general-information
"This can be used to provide the product with a badge in the listing, for example, so that it is displayed more conspicuously for customers."

  14. If I want to add a new property in a product under "Specifications" and then enter something in the search field, the system searches directly and deselects the search field. Perhaps it should be built in here that you have to press "Enter" to search so that it does not search automatically. This is confusing, as a search is also performed after 2 letters.

  16. A short form of the URLs to the products is needed in order to be able to create the URL automatically for QR codes in flyers, advertisements and print products in general. This URL should contain the product number.
There are plugins for this, but they only support REST notation.

Ideally, Shopware can do both in the core:

    Standard RFC 3986
    https://www.xxxx.de/?sku=12345678

    REST notation
    https://www.xxxx.de/12345678

The print production software InBetween requires the URL in the standard RFC 3986.

It allows external programmes to generate the appropriate links (URLs) to certain products and variants more easily. The "regular" links such…

  17. Right now, the field "cheapest price last 30 days" needs to be manually updated, which can lead to an enormous workload. It would be simpler to have an automatism that automatically picks out the cheapest price within the last 30 days.
