This is the space where you can share your ideas and feedback about Shopware 6.

How it works:

  2. Especially when Ai is generating a product description, it is essential to double-check the content. Especially in highly complex products it is crucial to align the content of the product with the team/quality assurance.

  5. As a shop owner, I would like to combine a physical product with a service, e.g. offer an extended warranty as a bundle. As a customer, I can only buy the product or the product with the service.

  6. Currently, there is no field "title" in the bulk editing for variants. Therefore, if wanting to disable / enable inheritance of this field, it is not possible via bulk edit.

  7. It should be possible to define a "secondary" variant where the end customer get's redirected to, if the variant he clicks on (via search suggest, landingpages etc.) is sold out.

  8. For shops with many variants, it isn't apparent if all variants are always displayed in the drop-down menus in the admin (e.g. for cross-selling) instead of one main product. It would be more effective to set in the admin that only the main product would be displayed in the lists.

  9. For the Product Managers, easily getting a view of stock levels is difficult - especially as the parent stock levels do not seem to be calculated from variant/child stock levels, and there is no simple way of just seeing underlying inventory levels (Parents and Non-variant single items are indistinguishable).

  10. As a merchant i want to give discounts to specific customer groups (Rule-based), but not only via promotion (=only in cart), but alkready visible on listings & detail pages (=Strike prices)

  12. It's not possible to remove set product links e.g by using import / export or bulk editing. You have to click on the lock symbol manually. Something like this is missing:

    Update product_translation SET product_translation.description = null WHERE product_id IN
    (SELECT product.id FROM product WHERE product.parent_id is not null);

    • Selection of different stores for pickup
    • Availability depending on the store
    • Indication of the period (Preferably in a calendar, in which the available days for the respective product are are easily visible)
    • Deposit of a security ("Kaution")
    • Mandatory insurance sum
    • Prices must be customizable
    • For longer rental periods, the price per day is reduced
    • Contact form
    • The design should be customizable

  13. As an online merchant, I want to be able to search for property labels instead of for their values when adding them to the product.

    For example: if you search for "colour" as a property lable, it will not be found. Search results will only come up when searching for "blue".

    Most likely best practice: make option if online merchant wants to search for labels or values.

  14. Presently, properties have to be defined separately in property panel before they can added from product panel. Make possible to add new properties (and, if possible, also specifications and variants) directly from product panel in order to increase comfort for online merchants.

  16. Dynamic Pricing is an interesting aspect of AI to consider.

    As this is not valid nor affordable for all online merchants, it could be a good idea for 3rd party extension.

  18. Sales report - quantity sold - with configurable features/columns/filters (eg properties, date, customer group). If this could be displayed as part of the product management admin screens, then the user can filter our his bestselling products and make adjustments/rules around them.

    In Magento there is also an attribute called “quantity sold”. My clients used this attribute to see how often a product was sold in a specific period. Based on these sold items in a specific period, they made business decisions.
