This is the space where you can share your ideas and feedback about Shopware 6.

How it works:

  1. Shop owners want to prioritize the sales channel on their own. Therefore it is necessary to sort the sales channels manually. ATM, it is not possible.

  2. It should be possible to output the shipping costs automatically as in Shopware 5, and not statically!

    It should also be possible to output prices when they are generated with PriceRules. At least for the standard customer group.

    It should be possible to exclude articles that were excluded with Dynamic Access from the feeds. At least for the standard customer group.

    These are not "wishes" - rather things that should actually be a matter of course.

  3. I would like to duplicate sales channels. In my case I created new sales channels for Google Shopping XML feeds in different languages and it would save time to just dupliucate existing sales channels rather than copying the fields one by one.

  5. If an additional field of the type "Media field" is retrieved in a product feed, only the UUID is printed rather than the media URL. It would be desirable if the UUID is resolved accordingly and the URL is displayed in the feed.

  6. There should be a way to assign the sales channels directly to the shipping methods in order to keep track of which sales channel the shipping method takes place in.
    Currently only possible in the sales channel itself.

  7. Currently it is not possible to buy a theme on the marketplace, write a own theme thats inherit on the bought theme and create duplicates in the admin for each sales channel.
    The duplicate icon is disabled because the inheritance would not work.

    I think not everyone will work on the SW6 default theme. Not everyone will write a own theme based on the default. There is also the way that you want to buy a good theme, which many configurations and features. Thats saving alot of time. But you might need to apply some adjustments.

  8. It would be good to have a way to configure themes and child themes per sales channel instead of having to create individual child themes for each sales channel. This would keep the overview better and reduce the effort of configuration.

  9. If you want to have more than one saleschannel with the same theme but have a different setting (e.g. primary color) you need to create a copy of the theme, because the theme config is not stored on the saleschannel (where it should be imho).

  10. As ERP systems attached to the shop are the same, it makes sense to use sales channels for different shops. However the shops are using a different language to address their target group. Hence we would like to be able to adjust the snippets by sales channel.

  11. As a shop owner I want to expand my business by introducing more social channels so that I can reach more potential customers of my target group with as low effort as possible.

  12. I want to define per sales channel whether net, gross or even no prices should be displayed. This would allow me to define a price view globally without multiplying customer groups within sales channels.

  13. Now FB channel must be linked to a storefront. This is not usable for headless projects using external CMSs. Therefore every customer using headless cannot also use a social channel (FB, Instagram etc.) in combination.

  14. Our customers often share their campaigns on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and others. All campaigns are often linked to a landing page in the shop. It would be great if a customer would be able to select images or videos for their campaigns on social media right within the shopping experience. For that, the creator of the shopping experience could select in another tab like "social media" or something his images and/or videos which will be uploaded to the linked Social Media Platform.

    Currently its not possible to maintain all data of the shop (address, banking etc.) centrally and display it flexibly in documents, imprint, mail templates...

    This problem does only apply to a very niche target group and is mainly useful if a customer does want to try out new markets "quick and dirty". 

    Usually, there are other processes and concepts in place to handle those main information and merchants do not need additional small configuration help within the shopware admin to represent their company structure setting in terms of addresses. 

  16. Challenge: Our dealers need to be able to maintain images for the individual languages individually on the product. Currently, this is not possible because the images are the same for all languages.

    Solution: The merchant can choose, similar to the variants (chain symbol), whether the images on the product should also differ in the languages.

  17. Currently, orders are being tracked by google analytics on the confirmation page. Challenge: when you click "confirm" you need to connect to a payment provider and for example if your card has insufficient funds the order will be tracked but not actually gone through.
    Solution: Orders should only be tracked on the "finish"/success page - or even better: In the analytics tab in the sw6 admin, you should have a configuration that enables you to set the "location"/time when an order should be tracked acc. to your preference.

    Value for merchant: More realistic/reliant feedback on actual order numbers.

  18. To ensure, that merchants can change their categories, shop system etc. without having to worry about the redirection management it would be helpful to have automation mechanisms for this within Shopware.
