Versioning of CMS pages
Currently, there is no versioning of the CMS pages in shopware. As in other systems, versioning is for a long-time standard and would be desirable in the shopware CMS too. The option to revert changes or restore an older version of one layout is crucial for a fluid workflow.
Not enough interest
We’re closing this idea because it has not received significant interest or activity over the past 24 months. This helps us keep the idea portal focused on the topics that are most relevant to our community.
If this is still important for your setup, a Shopware developer can build it as a custom extension.Shopware's architecture is designed to be extended, so requirements of this nature can typically be addressed at project level.
Thank you for taking the time to submit and support it. We’ll continue to monitor customer needs and may reconsider the topic if interest grows in the future.

There is a Shopware Commercial features which should cover that: https://docs.shopware.com/en/shopware-6-en/extensions/shopware-publisher?category=shopware-6-en/extensions#activity
It shows made changes and you can save multiple drafts -

I have edited a section at the category.
Once that happens, there is no way to get back to the original content block from the layout.Replacing the section with a new one ... copy/pasting the old content into ... is a workaround.
Being able to simply revert to the layout's section and its content would be very nice to have.
