This is legally required within the EU, so it's surprising why Shopware hasn't implemented it while providing a native product review functionality.

This is not only relevant for the german market, but for all EU countries. It is legally required due to the European Omnibus Directive. Since the 28. May 2022, Shops are required to mark if a rating was created by a user who actually bought or used the product:

According to §5 UWG Abs. (3) it is mandatory to mark a review as verified.
