An error occurred while saving the comment Dennis Grüter commentedAs Raymond mentioned already, this really is a frequently requested feature from shop owners. It has to be one of the top 5 most frequently requested features reaching our technical support and it's brought up often in contacts with potential customers as well.
Raymond's other suggestion - having a set timeframe where it's active - would also be great to have for automization and ease-of-use. We could implement this as a feature in our already existing promotion engine because this allows timed settings already.
As a learning from Shopware 5 we should make it so there's a hint when removing a free product from the cart again and/or an easy way to add the bonus product back in case a customer clicked remove accidentally. This prevents customers bothering our shop owners and their support.

An error occurred while saving the comment Dennis Grüter commentedMany shop owners have "exotically" named products or product numbers or whatever else. Currently, our search (even the Advanced Search) offers too little control to reliably build a satisfying search configuration without employing work intense workarounds.
We should allow for more customization, like setting up how high/low we want to rank partial hits and so forth. Basically, think back to what SwagFuzzy did. It was confusing to setup for many people, but it had so many settings that you could virtually search for and find anything once you had it setup properly to your shop's needs.
Maybe a compromise here would be to have an "Expert Configuration" setting. Out of the box, the search does well as a blanket solution for most shops. Got something exotic? Wenn, turn on Expert Configuration and have finer control over the scoring.

While we're on this topic - it would be nice to have a feature which lists which properties or property values are used and where.
Currently, this requires complicated database JOIN operations or an export of a product and an export of a property profile and merging them for evaluation purposes. This is needlessly complicated and I wager many shop owners do not have the necessary knowledge to do this in the first place, resulting in absolute messes when it comes to properties in some shops.
It would be a handy quality-of-life improvement if the Shopware Admin had a way to both show which properties are used and where exactly, linking to the products which use the property values like we do in other places of the Admin.
If we want to go a step further, there could be a function to list unused properties and property values and having a way to purge these - possibly via bulk select enabled menu.
