  1. It would be nice to allow inserting a custom product description per saleschannel for products. This way it would be possible to easily adjust the voice of tone and the highlighted information to my target group (ex. B2B & B2C). It could be also relevant for other text fields in the product like the title.

  2. Our suggestion In order to comply with both the PAngV and a clean UX, a small piece of logic would be useful:

    If regulationPrice == price.unitPrice → no output. (This happens very often in practice.)

    This would both comply with the legal situation and meet actual customer expectations.

  3. In Shopware 5 the free text fields could be directly used as catgory filter and the filters have been configurable (Anzeige Modus). That means the customer could define how a selection of value shall be in the frontend (Slider, Checkbox, Simple, Multiselection).

    The second thing: Using custom fields cannot be done directly. You have to add a property, then it can be used with the limits of the usual behaviour of catalogue > properties.

    It would be great if this will be easier to use custom field in future a filter criteria.

  4. The following use case occurs very frequently in our business model:
    A person gives away a subscription for 3, 6, or 12 months. The giver does not want to pay for each individual shipment separately, but rather pay the total amount once at the beginning, and the subscription ends after the prepaid period.

  5. The desired function allows the use of placeholders such as

    {{ product.properties.<name> }} or

    {{ product.customFields.<fieldName> }}

    in various product fields. These should then be automatically replaced with the respective values.

    ✅ Potential benefits for retailers:
    - Reduced manual maintenance effort
    - Consistent and accurate product data
    - Particularly helpful with many variants or large catalogs
    - Works in the cloud without individual template adjustments

  6. For some products the restock time is the time to produce or import new products. In some industries this is not a question of days but weeks.

    Currently the customer has to use 90 days instead of three months or 12 weeks.

    In regular delivery times there is a unit to specify the numbers. Perhaps it is possible to add the same for restock time?

  7. There should be a way to import/export the cheapest price (last 30 days).

    There is a regulationPrice in the price field for this purpose, but it cannot currently be mapped.

  8. Customer experience:
    "I created an order for a customer in Croatia. Croatia has 25% VAT, but the final price in the shop remains the same – meaning it doesn't increase even though the tax rate is higher.
    In Shopware 5, things were different; the gross price was adjusted accordingly. Now, this is no longer possible in Shopware 6 – except via a paid plugin.
    It doesn't make sense to me: If the tax increases, the final price should also increase. Otherwise, I earn less. This feels wrong."

  9. The implementation of strikethrough prices has been poorly and even incompletely implemented. In the ITA shop, we don't have a proper way to display a sale category, as the default function here also goes to the first tab.

    And independently, the in-house solution/rule for discounted items in the dynamic product groups is incredibly slow.

    The host once sent me the Slow Query. If printed out, I could wallpaper at least half the room (high ceilings in an old Berlin building).

  11. Customer-related product restriction such as min/max/staggered quantity per order. The values on the product are currently Global.

    In the B2B case in particular, you want to be able to set the minimum or maximum quantity of this product that the customer can order per customer. As this rule can differ per customer or customer group, it cannot currently be implemented as the rule applies globally for the product.

  12. It would be helpful if the manufacturer was available in the essential characteristics, or more precisely in the product information.

    This would allow it to be displayed with the other characteristics in the shopping cart without having to create an additional field that displays the manufacturer in the shopping cart.

    The manufacturer is one of the important features of a product and is therefore also part of this information.

    In Custom Products it is possible to define a discount/reduction via relative surcharges for an option. However, as soon as this is to be done with fixed amounts, it is not possible to enter e.g. -15 EUR. However, some customers require CP options where the product becomes cheaper if the corresponding option is selected.

  14. Currently, products can have a category displayed as a breadcrumb, which is restricted by Dynamic Access. Although this can be adjusted individually for each product, an automated solution would be desirable for customers.

  15. The product overview should be filtered for all items that can be added to products. This is important, for example, to pass on graduated prices to other marketplaces.

    All product functions should therefore be available.

    Examples
    - Sale
    - Delivery time
    - Free shipping
    - Visibility

  16. It should be possible to copy options and add them to a new custom product template.
    This would be particularly helpful if there are many elements in an options template.
    Example:
    I sell chairs in various fabrics and leathers. There are several fabric collections, each with up to 25 finishes.
    Not all fabric collections are available for every chair.
    It would therefore be useful to quickly compile templates with pre-made sets of options instead of having to compile all available fabrics from scratch.

  17. Currently, the template takes up a lot of space in the frontend. It would be desirable to be able to enable/disable the option to share the configuration in the backend.

    Similarly, the extended price display with surcharges should only be displayed if a paid configuration has actually been configured; otherwise, the simple display of the base price is sufficient.

  18. A filter to show only closeout products in the product overview would simplify stock management and make it easier to identify and update these items. This is especially useful for larger catalogs and shops with frequent assortment changes.

  19. There used to be the ‘Customers also bought’ function in Shopware 5, which automatically displayed products that were bought by customers who also bought the product that was called up.

    There is already the option to display such products via cross-selling, but not automatically, which would be a helpful improvement.

    The Rule Builder offers no possibility to react to a Custom Products selection. Conversely, there is no way to set a tag or a setting in an additional field in custom products, for example. This would make it possible to react to Custom Products settings in the Rule Builder, at least with a somewhat more complicated implementation.
    Please implement a method that is as simple as possible to query the settings of a custom product via the Rule Builder.
