Cross-selling based on search term
As a shop owner, I want to be able to show relevant cross-sellings on the search result page based on the search term. For example, the matching case for the iPhone or the matching anti-slip mat for the carpet. Could be combined with AI as well.

Lack in search
This does not live up to the name, even as an advanced version. Again, not even basic functions like boost and burry, synonyms, redirects or result manipulation are included. In addition, the search cannot be switched off when using external tools (which has its advantages and disadvantages). You are forced to rely on an external solution, although this should be a matter of course for a store and belongs to the basics. Especially with the more expensive packages.

The article number is then inserted into the search field or into the quick order via the barcode. Especially interesting in the b2b sector

Switch search category without deleting search prompt in the admin
When using the search in the admin, switching the search category from "all" to any other entity, the search term or search prompt previously entered gets deleted.
It would be more practical if the search term remained and the results would be displayed accordingly after switching the search category.1 vote -

Adminsearch: ETA for keypress in admin is quite too short
When I want to enter a search term in a search field of a form in the admin, I hardly have time to type in a complete search term. For example, if I want to search for the word "Man", a brief hesitation leads to the content being deleted after entering "M" and then entering "A" leads to a completely different search result.
At some points, the edit field also loses focus, so that I have to keep clicking in the…

Advanced Search configuration: ranking of fields
Currently it's not possible to set a ranking for the different product data fields. You can only prioritize if a field is relevant for the search or not - hence a title is as important as a description. This leads to false or bad search results.

Synonym configuration in Admin
Currently its not possible to configure synonyms directly within the backend. What adds to this problem is that lots of ecom teams do not have the capacity and knowledge people to handle them in the code directly and hence do not have the advantages of having synonyms to enrich search results
