A Highlight Badge to see what is already in the shopping cart
When browsing in shops with a very similar assortment, it is often hard to see what is already in the basket, and the customer ends often up on a product that is already in the cart. It would be great to have a system config for that to enable or disable a badge function on the listing and product detail page.
I had this experience recently when buying a pair of jeans pants, which at first glance looked all the same in the listing. It should be performant if just the UUIDs are compared/matched (like Rules).

Product Sales Reporting
Sales report - quantity sold - with configurable features/columns/filters (eg properties, date, customer group). If this could be displayed as part of the product management admin screens, then the user can filter our his bestselling products and make adjustments/rules around them.
In Magento there is also an attribute called “quantity sold”. My clients used this attribute to see how often a product was sold in a specific period. Based on these sold items in a specific period, they made business decisions.

Crossselling: It would be great if you could assign both manual products and dynamic product groups
It should be possible to add both a dynamic product group and individual products when crosselling. You could then use a product group for several products, but also add individual products for each product.

If the opened item is part of the product group selected for crosselling, it should not be displayed in crosselling.

increase "Entry per page" in catalogue > products
Should be instead of: 10, 25, 50, 75, 100
50, 100, 200
Default should be 100.
Why: to see more products at once and on larger resolution display (higher that FullHD) it is not a problem to see 200 products at once.

ESD/Digital products - Allow update of the linked media
Currently, when you setup a digital product and give it, for example, a PDF file, that file is set in stone. That means that even if I delete the file in the Admin and upload a different file, all the previously sent mails and links in your customer account still refer to the old file.
This is not ideal in some usecases like say, manuals or other things that might need a revision or update somewhere along the line.
It would be great if there was a possibility (other than replacing the file on the server by hand) to replace/update…

Custom Products: Make "Share this configuration" deactivatable
In Custom Products there is an option for the customer to share his configuration.
But for the store owner there is no option to disable this function.
Many merchants do not want to have this function in the store, but they cannot disable it.

Product configurator
Somewhat similar to custom products: There's no option tho to change "normal" variant, for example if a "blue" variant should always cost 5€ more than the main product. When Changing the price of the main product, the variant price should be changed automatically aswell.

There should be a possibility to let the prices of variants change automatically when changing the price of the main product to reduce manual labor.
Suggestion: Allow an absolute or percentual surcharge per variant, e.g. 5€. When changing the price of the main product the variant changes aswell (X + 5€).3 votes -
