Searching with an EAN number to get precise results
As a customer, I would be able to search the storefront using EAN numbers to find the precise results I need. For example, I could easily order the exact spare part I require by entering its EAN number.
Right now, the search results show multiple options, which can sometimes be confusing. Making this process more straightforward would definitely improve the experience.

Hide empty entities in search results
Add an option that allows to hide empty entities in search results.
One example here would be manufacturers that are not being assigned to any products in the given sales channel.

Media: Media search with storage location information
If, for example, you search for an image in the media, you will receive the image and some additional details, but it is not clear in which folder within a potentially large structure the image is located.
In order to check the storage location, it is essential to have information about where the file is located or the option to open the folder directly under “Actions.”

Define sorting criteria for Admin Search
I would like to be able to define sorting criteria within the admin search. This should ensure that I can sort the search results (for orders, for example) in ascending/descending order number order.

Search for content for admin and frontend
The admin and frontend should also search for content from Content. There are always CMS pages that match certain search terms. For a better shopping experience, these should also be displayed in the search.

Further evaluation of the customer search
There should be an evaluation of customer search queries within the Shopware search.
This means that the search can be adapted to customers in ever greater detail. This is requested time and again by large customers.

Deleting media via the admin search
If the admin search is used to search for media in various folders, it should be possible to select and delete several images, for example.
At the moment, the search results pop up as a small menu, which does not allow you to select and delete the results individually, for example.
This makes it very time-consuming to remove certain media.

Improvement of the admin search especially in the area of Configure filterable product properties
In the categories, the Configure filterable product properties can be activated for the filters of this category in the Layout area and there in the Category listing area.
The search that can then be used currently shows very error-free results including partial hits, even with a very specific search term.
For example, the search term “length brush min. (mm)” shows results for “(mm)”, “(m)”, “min”, “length” etc. - This can be seen very clearly in the attached screenshot.
Here it would be desirable if an exact match or an exact hit is found for the search term so that only…

Enable Backend-Search for Custom Fields values
At the moment it is not possible to search for values within custom fields with the backend search. Please add this function to the backend search. We often have other numbers or UUIDs from our ERP or PIM system which we automatically store in custom fields. We often have to search for these values in the backend to synchronize data or change them manually.

Search with voice recognition/AI Pilot with voice Recognition
Hi there,
as you guys are working on a lot of AI Featrues, have you thought on integrating a voice recognition within the search/AI search?
This combined with language recognition would be a very nice feature which makes it easy for all customers to search within the shop.

Admin Search: Search term disappears when switching search area
When using the search in Admin and you change the search area, the already entered search term disappears and needs to be re-entered.
This is a potential cause for frustration.
Imagine entering your product name, just to realise that you are in the search area "Orders", then switching to the search area "Products" and having to re-enter the same search term again.

Make Advanced Search 2.0 more configurable
EN
Advanced Search 2.0 / OpenSearch already offers good results. However, not all users can make optimum use of it because, for example, it is not possible to set how much deviation a result may have compared to the top-ranked result. In the technical trade, product names can be very close to each other, so an exact match is often required here. Although the best results are presented first, similar results are also presented. For example, S25 and S25+ would be very close to each other and therefore offer the potential for a bad purchase with subsequent returns. For customers…

The product cards of the search results from AI should be exactly the same as the regular product cards
Hi,
It makes no sense why the product cards on the search results from AI are different from the standard product cards used at listings and the regular search results, or cross-selling sliders.
Now you can only click on the product to open the product detail page, while you would rather have a customer inform about the prices and provide the ability to add the products to the cart.

Ability to replace no results layout
It would be a great improvement if it would be possible to replace the default search results page with Shopping experience layout when there are no search results.
In the current situation, the customer leads to a dead end, which is not user friendly and most likely results in site abondenments.

Currently, it is not possible to exclude individual categories from the search. This would be useful for footer categories.

Commercial: Advanced Search - show how ranking was determined
In older versions of Shopware 6 the ranking points were shown in the advanced search preview. Currently it is not possible to estimate or optimise the search results, because the shares in the ranking can only be determined manually - if at all.
Please make the ranking more comprehensible again.
The is another feedback that seems to belong to default search (https://feedback.shopware.com/forums/942607-shopware-6-product-feedback-ideas/suggestions/45589468-understandable-search-results) maybe it's possible to find an algorithm for both.

Search Result Layout (header search) with active Commercial Extension
If the Commercial extension is inactive, the search result layout (header search, not the result page) is defined by the class "search-suggest-container". If, on the other hand, the Commercial extension is activated, the styling is generally controlled by the advanced-search-suggest-container class.
However, the latter should only be the case if Advanced Search is actually activated. Until that is the case, use the default search-suggest-container.
