Language-specific images
Presently, it is not possible to use language specific images, the very same image is shown in every language. However, it totally makes sense to have language specific images as Online merchants may use it in combination with text to tease the prospect purchaser or even use e.g. banner images for "call to action".
See example attached (<a href="http://www.freepik.com">Designed by Freepik</a>)

setting up Link-category could be transferred to other languages? (Language inheritance for landing pages)
I first set up a category as link (f.e. a link to an entity, like "category") on my standard language storeview and save.
But then I switch to the french language in the admin, the link has to be set up all over again.
It is possibly intended behaviour with good reason, but one could say that shopware would be perfectly capable to re-use the link to the "french" equivalent of the attached entity.
the answer would be: that is is not sure that is would be 1 on 1 that you would want it the same.
While this is…

Make use of jpegli library to render small but rather good looking images
I stumbled upon this really good article by Splendid IT (German only) https://www.splendid-internet.de/blog/ist-googles-jpegli-wirklich-besser-als-webp/.
According to this article, Google recently came up with a new library to render small but rather good looking images in a regular JPEG format. This is a completely new approach in order to be independent from the mercy of browser vendors.

Add last order items to the content element "Product slider"
Some customers want to buy products they already bought in an order before as fast as possible again. Therefore, it would be great to add the products the customer bought in the last order to the "product slider" element in the shopping experience. Just add "last order products" to the "Product assignment" element after "manual assignment" and "Dynamic product group"

Allow data mapping of custom fields in CMS Elements
Currently it is only possible to use shopware standard fields via data mapping in CMS elements. It would be great if we could also use custom fields here.

Creation of a credit note without reference to an invoice
It is always necessary to create credit notes that have no reference to an invoice.
For example, crediting a customer's expense (reimbursement of customs costs) without an existing receipt.
It would therefore be an advantage if credit notes could also be created without a reference.2 votes -
Assign product layouts per sales channel
Instead of only relying on languages only, product layouts should be able to be defined for each sales channel.

Delete / Reset Translation for Products / Categories etc
If you use language inheritance (for example Italian and Swiss-Italian as inherited language) you can select both languages in the administration.
In order to use the inheritance you have to enter the Italian Translation first. It will inherit to Swiss-Italian.
If you ever (accidentally) save a translation for Swiss-Italian there is no way to revert to language inheritance for the record you saved. If you ever need to update the record you will always have to save it in Italian and in Swiss-Italian.
There should be a way to delete the translation and reactivate the inheritance

[Shopping Experiences] Buy box multiple times on product page
We'd like to have the buy box on the product page multiple times: At the beginning and end of the page.
Unfortunately, if we duplicate the buy box, an error occurs that it is only allowed once.
Some other ecommerce platforms allow that and it would be great to have this in Shopware.

Copying CMS content - reusable elements
It would be nice to have the option of copying elements from the shopping experiences and using them in a different place.
Example: We have the "XY" section in the start page - this should be filled and customised once and then copied in the next step and used in another page.

Add config for each view port
Currently the settings for a CMS block apply to each viewport.
It should be possible to set different settings for each viewport.
Example: product slider
On desktop, articles should have a minimum width of 300px.
For mobile, however, a minimum width of 100px.This can currently only be implemented if the CMS block is created separately for each viewport. This causes more effort and is not optimally solved.

Provide a new variable "shopping.description" for the layout section.
If you create a shopping page in the shopping experiences, e.g. for shipping costs or payment methods, and insert the content there, the content is displayed in the modal window.
If you now create a corresponding category for the store footer, you can assign the layout, but the content is not displayed when you click on the link in the footer.
Unfortunately, there is obviously no variable available yet that can be used to achieve the data mapping.
Just like the variable "category.description", a new variable such as "shopping.description" is therefore required. If there is another way that I have…

Pre configured "Category filtering" page
In the current situation you need to manually add a attribuut to the category filter.
This takes allot of time and is not always flawless, since you need to build up the entire filter every single time when there is a new category added to the shop. What i would like to see is a "pre configure filtering" page. On this page you can configure a filter so you only need to add this filter in like a drop down menu so you only need to select a pre configured filter once you made a new category page, something like…

Category type 'link' with image
The category type "link" does not support images.
That's not a logical way, because if you build a menu with external links, you cant' assign an image. This exclusion makes no sense.1 vote -
Change sorting of product slider
- I added a product slider via Content > Experience Worlds (???) > Landing Pages.
- I added products to the slider.
- I cannot change the order of the products in the slider but need to delete all products and start over again.
Solution: It should be easily possible to change the sort order of products listed in the product slider without starting over again.

Cancellation invoice: Negative total amount like credit note
Like the credit note, the cancellation invoice should have a negative total amount.
At the moment, everything except the total amount is negative (Cancellation invoice). This can lead to problems when exporting or connecting to a CRM.

Data mapping for product slider
It should be possible to create product sliders with data mapping, which can be filled with the top sellers of a category, for example. This would make the manual creation of dynamic product groups obsolete.
