  1. Delete media - folders get not removed

    If a medium is deleted manually in Contents > Media, the folder path, e.g. /media/38/85/66/1728367134/, is retained, only the file is removed. The same phenomenon also occurs when deleting/clearing up via Command line. Even if each directory only takes up a small amount of space, many empty directories quickly accumulate, which means that a lot of unnecessary space is taken up.

    Please also remove the directories when cleaning up.

    Wenn ein Medium in Inhalte > Medien manuell gelöscht wird, bleibt der Ordnerpfad z.B. /media/38/85/66/1728367134/ erhalten, nur die Datei wird entfernt. Das gleiche Phänomen tritt auch auf, wenn die Löschung…

  2. Shopping experiences: "Topseller" sort for product-slider

    There are different values for sorting within the configuration of the product slider. The ‘Topseller’ selection is missing at this point, which would result in a further and useful customisation of the configuration. This would make sense at this point and is requested by customers.

  3. Blog with Custom Entities

    Blogs are an excellent way for businesses to tell stories and generate more traffic around their products. Currently, running a blog requires external setups, which often need coding skills, manual workflows and are disconnected from the shop system. Therefore we will provide an integrated blog functionality as a first example of using custom entities. This will enable merchants to write content, design and publish blog posts without coding skills.

  4. Replacing the sw-text-editor editor

    It would be a great Idea to schedule the replacement of the sw-text-editor by a better editor like Tiptap as it is mentioned in the architectural desicion report: https://developer.shopware.com/docs/resources/references/adr/2023-03-27-admin-text-editor-evaluation.html

  5. Default layout for products

    Currently, it is only possible to define default layouts for categories. As it is possible to create custom product layouts, it would also be beneficial if one could assign that layout to all existing and newly created products.

    This would make it much easier to assign a new layout with several thousand products.

  6. More options in WYSIWYG editor

    As a content creator, it would be great to have more options to format text. Changing font size and color or adding a class for optional formats would be a good start. With this, it would be possible for example to add accent colors to texts.

  7. Improve the block & element possibilities of the page builder

    Improve the possibilities to design a page in the page builder by adding more blocks, elements and related settings.

    Also, something like what was possible in SW5 with Digital Publishing Element.

  8. Scheduled publishing for CMS

    For campaign dates, new product releases, weekend activities, etc. a scheduling feature of pages should be integrated
