Scraper
In Odoo they have a website scraper which allows you to put the url of an existing website/ecommerce and it will create the shop and the website with the theme and snippets/images and so on from the existing website. Especially for demo purposes this could be very powerful to give a product showcase with a very personalized and themed style of the prospect's branding.

Allow for CMS elements to be hidden on category pages when product listing page is not the first page
When a category layout contains some text or images together with the product listing element, that text or element may be indexed by search engines multiple times for each page of the listing, leading to duplicate indexing and results.
It would be helpful if certain elements could be hidden once the customer or the indexing bot navigates through the listing pages, or a URL contains the ?p= parameter. This would prevent redundant indexing.

Easier customization of email templates
Customizing email templates is usually quite complex and hardly feasible for the average customer. For example, adding the manufacturer's name for each item in the order confirmation.
The entire process of customizing email templates should be significantly simplified and made much more intuitive. We also receive a large number of support requests regarding this.

CMS-Element: Configuration options when embedding YouTube videos
When a YouTube video is embedded into an shopping experience using a CMS element, subtitles are automatically added, even though this feature is not active in the original video.
Therefore, it would be helpful to have configuration options for this within the CMS element.

Allow copying and moving banner elements within Shopping Experiences without losing links
In Shopware 5, it was possible to move individual banners within a landing page using clipboard functionality without losing the assigned links.
In Shopware 6, this is currently not possible. Images have to be reselected from the media library, text has to be rewritten, and links have to be reassigned manually.
Especially for homepages and landing pages with multiple banners, it would be highly beneficial to allow copying and repositioning content within a Shopping Experience while keeping all existing configurations (images, text, links) intact.

Show cms layout "source"
When I assign a layout to a category/product, all settings from the “global” layout are initially applied. However, this only applies until I make changes within the category/product via the “Layout” tab—which therefore only apply to this entity.
This often leads to confusion if changes are made to the “global” layout at a later date and these no longer affect the specific category or product. If the above scenario occurs, I still have to make the changes at the category/product level for them to be visible.
At this point, we need a note in the “Layout” tab that indicates that…

Additional section for CMS pages
A CMS Page contains of sections, blocks and elements. Shopware offers only 2 different sections (sidebar/content and content).
Blocks can easily be moved between sections and within sections - making editing a breeze.Sections only with 2 columns sidebar/content and 1 column content are not enough.
Many plugins add columns to blocks, but moving content between blocks is not possible. We loose the strong feature of moving blocks with text or images between sections.Solution: add at least one additional section with 3 equal columns.
Thus making moving blocks and editing much easier.

Inheritance of elements in CMS pages
DE:
Nun entsteht dadurch folgende Problematik:
Sollte somit…

Custom forms: Easy reply to the customer
There is already this feedback / feature request: https://feedback.shopware.com/forums/942607-shopware-6-product-feedback-ideas/suggestions/50220672-add-cc-bcc-and-reply-to-features-to-the-mail-func.
In addition it should be possible to define an email adress, that custom forms (or default forms) can reply to.
Of course one can add an email field in the form fields. But this cannot be used to open the form mail and click on reply to "customer email"

Cloud: Enabling the editing of template files via the admin panel
In cloud environments, customers are increasingly reaching their limits because manually customizing template files (e.g., forms) is not possible. Therefore, the admin panel should offer the ability to edit template files.
Extensions in the Shopware Store demonstrate that this is technically feasible.
Such a feature would significantly reduce the limitations within the cloud and further increase user adoption.

"not specified" salutation handling
This is handled rather inconsistently in Shopware. In some but not all places, if you leave out the salutation, Shopware searches the database for the "not_specified" entry that comes with the installation and inserts it if found. If also sometimes inserts it just for display in the Administration if the real salutation reference is null, so you wouldn't even know the real value without looking directly into the database, but again, not always.
Crucially, that "not_specified" entry can be changed and deleted at will, so there's no guaranteed meaning behind it.
Also, sometimes like in the contact form the salutation…

Dynamic Access: Rule based product images
It would be great, if we could use the Dynamic Access feature to further customize, when which images are supposed to be displayed in the storefront.
Examples:
- As an erotic store for example, I want to show different pictures depending on if someone is logged in or not.
- Depending on the time of the year, I want to display different pictures automatically.
- Different Customer Groups should see different pictures.2 votes -
Add empty alt tags to untagged thumbnails in image galleries
Untagged images in the gallery get an empty alt tag when not tagged, which is a good default behaviour. The thumbnails in the gallery also need this. Currently, untagged images don't get any alt tag at all. This is an accessibility problem!

Contact Form: Remove salutation Requirement
In most places, the salutation is no longer a requirement, but for some reason, in the contact form, it still is.
If you want to override this via an extension, you have to override not only the template but also the validation as well as the ContactFormRoute since it builds criteria with the salutationId and assumes it to be set.
There doesn't seem to be a good reason to force this requirement. At the very least, there should be a config to make the field optional.1 vote -
Improvements to the thumbnail generator
One customer noticed these limitations of the thumbnail generator:
Square dimensions are used by default. This means that images with different widths and heights can vary greatly in quality when portrait and landscape images are used at the same time. The media manager allows the width and height to be set differently, but thumbnails that deviate from this format will be of poorer quality.
In the customer's words:
A square display is rarely the case. The most common display is landscape format. For optimal quality, the shortest side should be used rather than the longest side.
This is the only…

Default Theme: Footer and Category Overview Background Color Not Customizable
As a shop owner,
I want to configure the background colors of the footer and category overview within the default theme settings,
so that I can easily create a consistent design for dark or light themed shops without custom CSS overrides. When using the Shopware Default Theme, the background color of the footer and the category overview cannot be adjusted through the theme configuration.
This limitation causes issues for shop owners who want to build a dark-themed store, since the default bright background colors do not match and result in a visually inconsistent and unprofessional appearance.
Actual Behavior:
These areas…

Category teaser image for subcategories in navigation flyout
Currently, display images from categories are only shown in the navigation flyout if it is a main category. For subcategories, however, the display image can only be used for display on the respective listing page.
It would be desirable if the display image could also be shown for subcategories within the navigation flyout (configurable via option).

Lack of Insert-Anywhere Function for Sections in Shopping Experiences
In many of our CMS projects, we regularly need to insert new sections into the middle of existing Shopping Experience pages.
Problem:
Currently, Shopware only allows new sections to be added at the top or bottom of the page. If you want to place a section between two existing ones, you must:Add the new section at the end or beginning.
Manually drag and drop it up/down through the page structure.
For longer pages, this is time-consuming and error-prone.
Wish / Recommendation:
A simple solution such as a “+” button between sections (like in many visual builders) or a contextual…1 vote
