Banner slider as content element
It would be desirable if there were also banner slider blocks where you can also put a text over the image, like in a "Hero image" block of the block category "Text and Images". A slider with text and image combined.

Counter as content element
To show when an offer is ending, a counter as a content element for the shopping experiences that is compatible with the PWA would be great. Different designs should be available, and the possibility to set the end date including time.

Identify used CMS elements
It's very difficult if you have multiple editors and a lot of elements to figure out which element they are seing in order to use the same element on a different position.
As soon as you have placed an element you can't figure out what it is.3 votes -

New layout block "Accordion"
Designing a lot of text for various topics in an appealing way is not easy. An accordion is very helpful in making a lot of content more accessible to the customer. Often used for FAQ or documentation it has established itself as a standard design element in online shops and is therefore an element that should be within reach in the shopping experiences default blocks.

Default layout for products
Currently, it is only possible to define default layouts for categories. As it is possible to create custom product layouts, it would also be beneficial if one could assign that layout to all existing and newly created products.
This would make it much easier to assign a new layout with several thousand products.

Add the ability to save color palettes in the WYSIWYG
When editing texts or other elements in the WYSIWYG editor for shopping experiences, it would be good to enable color palettes so that the user can resort to saved color palettes or even get new inspiration via color palette services such as https://www.colourlovers.com.
This would enable the users to add color or color schemes more quickly and more standardised.

Rule based preview for Shopping Experiences
Currently, there is no way to test the rules placed at a block in the Shopping Experiences. For this, it would be helpful to be able to test the rules placed on a block in a preview. The customer should be able to check if what he has configured works.

Search and replace content
With media, it is possible to search and replace files. It would be beneficial to have the same functionality for texts. For example, if a campaign name changes, we like to simply search for it and replace it with the new wording. This will then be changed everywhere in the shop where the old name was used (layouts, categories, product descriptions, etc.).

Versioning of CMS pages
Currently, there is no versioning of the CMS pages in shopware. As in other systems, versioning is for a long-time standard and would be desirable in the shopware CMS too. The option to revert changes or restore an older version of one layout is crucial for a fluid workflow.

Better mobile-first support
The mobil-first approach may be technically lived, but it does not exist in the application. There are no options for mobile content settings or adjustments. Not even a preview exists. Here you can only be reactive on the road. Even the headless approach only affects the display, but not the usability as an admin.

Rudimentary Content-Editor
The drag and drop editor, which is touted as innovative, is very rudimentary, offers hardly any design scope and that too only for text and images. In detail, it lacks the following:
- A flexible design framework
- A selection of content blocks
- Dynamic column design
- An understandable and flexible image customization
- The possibility to include tables in a clean and mobile optimized way
- An HTML editor that visually structures content cleanly, recognizes paragraphs sensibly and does not insert useless spaces
- A flexible fusion of content and commerce
- A larger detail window for edits.…6 votes -
Insert dynamic URLs
Insert dynamic URLs. This is standard in a CMS. Dynamic URLs have the advantage that the links on a website are automatically adjusted with every update and do not have to be changed manually. Thus, the links should automatically adapt as soon as, for example, a landing page is moved or renamed.
