1. We need repeater fields

   We come from WordPress/WooCommerce and use ACF Pro there. We heavily use the repeater feature to easily add new content to things that ... well ... repeat.

   We have several use cases:

   Customer logos, FAQs, USPs, trust badges, a list of links, accordion items, etc.

   These are all things that use the same set of fields repeated over and over. It is annoying to add new fields.

   For example, we need more customer logos. I have seven image fields named image1, image2, etc. Now I need to add up to 30 for new customer logos.

   So I need to manually add all those fields to the custom field and enhance the code to display those new fields in the storefront. Since you can't duplicate fields (another big issue), it takes !forever! to add all this new content.

   A repeater is must-have for modern content managementm Please add this to your premium product!

3. Media Manager: Sort by file type

   To better file the files yout want to manage (delete, replace, show) please integrate a new filter type: file type

4. Link to media

   We want to use the media library to provide PDF files for download on CMS pages. While there are special plugins for this, sometimes a simple link would do.

   Current process:

   1. go to media library
   2. finde the PDF
   3. use copy link
   4. go to CMS page
   5. click the "link" button
   6. choose URL option
   7. paste the link, remove the base URL (for better portability between development and production instances)

   A better approach would be to be able to directly link to media files in place.

   See the attached screenshot:

   1) I click the link button
   2) I choose "media file in the dropdown"
   3) I get a media browser popup to choose the media entity

   That chooser is already present for products and there it replaces the base URL by a UUID placeholder. This should then happen also for media files.

5. Identify used CMS elements

   It's very difficult if you have multiple editors and a lot of elements to figure out which element they are seing in order to use the same element on a different position.
   As soon as you have placed an element you can't figure out what it is.

6. Rudimentary Content-Editor

   The drag and drop editor, which is touted as innovative, is very rudimentary, offers hardly any design scope and that too only for text and images. In detail, it lacks the following:
   - A flexible design framework
   - A selection of content blocks
   - Dynamic column design
   - An understandable and flexible image customization
   - The possibility to include tables in a clean and mobile optimized way
   - An HTML editor that visually structures content cleanly, recognizes paragraphs sensibly and does not insert useless spaces
   - A flexible fusion of content and commerce
   - A larger detail window for edits. Some functions are located outside the visible area.
   - A mobile view/preview in which content can be handled separately (e.g. image formats, tables, etc.). Currently this is cumbersome, sometimes not available at all.
   Any Wordpress standard provides more here and is also easier to handle. A really brilliant content editor is the one from Wix.

7. Duplicate CMS blocks

   There should be an option to duplicate CMS blocks to make minor changes to the second one. This is especially helpful if e.g. for a limited time only some minor changes should be visible via dynamic access (make the first one invisible and the second one with small changes visible for timeframe XY), for example for a specific season.

8. Form with dependent fields

   At the moment it is possible to create a form with individual fields. But it should also be possible to create a form with dependent fields. If field A is filled, field B appears/ disappears/can´t filled out/....

10. Inheritance of elements in CMS pages

    Aktuelle Systematik seitens Shopware:

    Man kann CMS-Seiten erstellen und in diesen innerhalb Sektionen verschiedene Blöcke und Elemente definieren. Nun habe ich die Möglichkeit in Kategorien entweder für jede Seite ein eigenes CMS-Layout zuzuweisen. Ebenso kann man aber auch das gleiche CMS-Layout mehreren Seiten zuweisen. Hier hat man dann die Möglichkeit die Inhalte der im Layout festgelegten Elemente zu individualisieren.

    Nun entsteht dadurch folgende Problematik:

    Angenommen ich habe 50 Kategorie-Seiten, welche alle das gleiche vorgegebene CMS-Layout nutzen. Dann habe ich nur die Möglichkeit die Inhalte der Blöcke/Elemente zu bearbeiten, kann aber nicht die Blöcke/Sektionen auf diverse Unterseiten vererben.

    Sollte somit z.B. der Fall auftreten, dass ich von 10 dieser 50 Seiten mit dem gleichen Layout an erster Stelle keinen Slider mehr möchte (aber das restliche Layout soll beibehalten werden, bzw. der Aufbau aller darauf folgenden Elemente), so ist aktuell die einzige Möglichkeit für diese 10 Unterseiten neue Layouts anzulegen.

    Diese Problematik lässt sich nun hochskalieren. Nehmen wir nun an, wir wollen von den 50 Seiten, auf 10 Seiten an erster Stelle keinen Slider und von diesen 10 Seiten soll bei 4 Seiten an letzter Stelle ein anderes Element sein, müsste ich nochmals diese 4 Seiten neu erstellen.

    Obwohl von diesen 50 Seiten das Grundlayout bis auf einige Blöcke identisch ist, muss ich aktuell für jegliche Abweichung am Grundlayout neue eigene Seiten erstellen und kann nicht festlegen, dass z.B. Sektionen in einem CMS-Layout vererbbar sind.

    Über eine Lösung seitens Shopware würden wir uns sehr freuen, das würde die Contentbearbeitung bei umfangreichen Inhalten mit mehr als 1000 Seiten enorm vereinfachen und wäre ein wirklicher Mehrwert.

    It is possible to create CMS pages and define different blocks and elements within sections. Categories can either be assigned their own individual CMS layout per page, or the same CMS layout can be assigned to multiple pages. In this case, the content of the elements defined in the layout can be customized individually.

    This leads to the following problem:

    Assume there are 50 category pages that all use the same predefined CMS layout. In this scenario, it is only possible to edit the content of the blocks and elements, but it is not possible to inherit blocks or sections across different subpages.

    For example, if on 10 of these 50 pages the slider should no longer appear as the first element (while the rest of the layout, including the structure of all subsequent elements, should remain the same), the only current solution is to create new layouts for these 10 subpages.

    This issue can be scaled further. If, for instance, out of the 50 pages, 10 pages should not have a slider as the first element, and out of those 10 pages, 4 pages should have a different element at the last position, those 4 pages would again need to be created separately.

    Although the base layout of these 50 pages is largely identical except for a few blocks, any deviation from the base layout currently requires creating entirely new pages. It is not possible to define sections within a CMS layout as inheritable.

    We would greatly appreciate a solution from Shopware, as this would significantly simplify content management for large setups with more than 1,000 pages and would provide real added value.

11. Improvements to the thumbnail generator

    One customer noticed these limitations of the thumbnail generator:
    Square dimensions are used by default. This means that images with different widths and heights can vary greatly in quality when portrait and landscape images are used at the same time.

    The media manager allows the width and height to be set differently, but thumbnails that deviate from this format will be of poorer quality.

    In the customer's words:
    A square display is rarely the case. The most common display is landscape format.

    For optimal quality, the shortest side should be used rather than the longest side.

    This is the only way to ensure that images are always (!) optimally used in the respective resolution and based on the srcset / sizes attributes.

12. Shopping experiences: "Topseller" sort for product-slider

    There are different values for sorting within the configuration of the product slider. The ‘Topseller’ selection is missing at this point, which would result in a further and useful customisation of the configuration. This would make sense at this point and is requested by customers.

    If you create an additional field in which you can upload documents and you upload documents here, they will simply be thrown into the media management.
    
    It would be good if you have a selection option here when uploading where you can decide where these documents are stored.

17. Flowbilder trigger for custom forms

    It would be helpful to have business events or trigger for the flow builder with which merchants could create actions for custom forms.

    For example, it would be desirable to send a mail to the customer with a confirmation that the form has been received. Currently, this is only confirmed in the frontend by a note.

18. Mark translations in shopping experiences

    As a shop owner, I want to know if a content block in the shopping experience inherits the content of the default language or not. For this, it would be helpful to "chain" the elements like a variant in the product area. Only when the chain is "solved", the translation or text change can be made.

19. Option to choose how many elements are visible in a multi-element-block

    In picture sliders, commerce sliders, multi-element-blocks, the max quantitiy of elements visible side by side at once is capped at 3 (except of the cross selling block afaik). The customer should be able to choose a number higher than three. A full sized commerce slider with only three products visible is just too little and the three ones visible are way too big
