Keep sorting on shipping and payment methods
When selecting either shipping or payment method, Shopware changes the sorting of the methods so that the selected method is moved to the top.
There is no logic behind this, and it is very poor UX, as the user gets very unsure whether they chose the right option, since the one selected was moved.
Strongly suggest simply changing it so that the selected method is kept at the position it was at originally (from the initial sorting of the method from Admin).

Test orders
A possibility to carry out orders as a test. So that they are clearly marked as a test or can be deleted again.
We also have to test our productive system and sometimes documents are created there. Then you can no longer delete an order from Shopware. It would be practical if a frontend user could be put into a test environment in the production system. Or something similar.

Custom Product display options only if options are selected
If we offer custom products in the shop which are then placed in the shopping basket without an option, the field with the options is displayed in the shopping basket and is empty. For UX improvements field should be shown only if options are selected.
At the moment it is a bit confusing for customers if additional options are displayed but none have been defined.1 vote -
Add the shipping time to the delivery time of a product in the shopping cart
Now you can show the delivery time per product in the shopping cart. But it would be better to have an extra option where you can also add the shipping time based on the chosen shipping method. For instance: delivery time for product A = 2 days, shipping method X = 1-3 days and shipping method Y= 4-6 days. Whenever a customer adds product A this his/her shopping cart and choose shipping method X the delivery time will be 3-5 days and when he/she chooses shipping method Y the delivery time for that product will change to 6-8 days. Now…

Checkout: correction options for mail address
According to § 312i Para. 1 S. 1 No. 1 BGB in conjunction with. Art. 246c No. 3 EGBGB, the customer must be provided with adequate, effective and accessible technical means and informed about how input errors can be recognised and corrected before the order is placed. Adequate technical means in this sense are clearly labelled
In the present case, the e-mail address is not shown on the order page/checkout.
This must be supplemented with appropriate correction options so that the consumer can recognise and correct incorrect entries.

Async and sync payment processes in Shopware PWA / Frontends
If we build a shopware pwa / frontend you must reverse engineer and reimplement all payment providers by yourself for example, Unzer, SwagPayPal etc.
Every payment plugin has many payment processes like credit card, sofort, sepa, invoice, invoice and secure and many more.
Every of these payment processes needs additional information fields like birthday or paypalOrderId or isPaypayExpressCheckout Flag etc.
But the current state of payment integration doesn't allow it to transfer information in the handlePayment() or createOrder() functions. So every time we must build workarounds for theses functionality.1 vote -
Strike price as a variable in the ITEMs for order confirmation
So that the customer can see that individual products have longer delivery times. This eases the burden on customer service and saves complaints when items are shipped later.

Disable voucher option in checkout
Currently, it's only possible to enter voucher codes in the cart.
It should be possible to deactivate the voucher option, if you don't offer vouchers, for the checkout, that customers do not leave the checkout looking for voucher and don't come back to finish the purchase.1 vote -

PayPal invoice - disclaimer above the button
The disclaimer for PayPal invoice is displayed below the submit button. From a legal point of view, however, this should be displayed before the button, because in case of doubt a court could decide that the text displayed after the submit button is not part of the contract.

Send Order-Confirmation with flow-builder event
On event "Order-Placed" the email order confirmation is send to the customer.
It is NOT possible to stop this email, as it is send outside flow-builder.
Only after this event the flow-builder can be used to do some action. It would be better and more logical, to have this event already through flow-builder. This would give the possibility to react to the order content, payment, etc. and give more specialized order-confirmations.

Possibility to change or correct the email address in the checkout process.
The possibility to correct the Email should be just as possible as the change of addresses. It happens again and again that typos creep in when entering the email. These can no longer be corrected during the final check by the customer.
Up to now there is the setting "Enter email twice", but this is cumbersome for the customer and most of the time the email is simply copied into the 2nd field.

Reduce data amount in checkout
Modern checkout processes only ask for necessary e.g. only e-mail & password for initial registration and then later in the checkout address step for address information.
In SW6 merchants don't have the flexibility to decide what data and at which step in the checkout it is collected.
More options to configure and individualise would help to increase CR, lower frustration potential on the customer side, and adapt to country specific requirements.10 votes -
