Test orders
A possibility to carry out orders as a test. So that they are clearly marked as a test or can be deleted again.
We also have to test our productive system and sometimes documents are created there. Then you can no longer delete an order from Shopware. It would be practical if a frontend user could be put into a test environment in the production system. Or something similar.

A function is desired that shows in the shopping cart/cashout how much € is still needed until free delivery.
This keeps customers in the shop and generates more sales. The function should be included in the standard.

Delivery time display: Option to exclude specific days
It would be a nice option to have the possibility to exclude Sundays for example from the delivery time calculation. Of course, we can already cover this with the delivery time SPAN and NAME of the delivery method, saying 1-3 WORKdays or something.
But it would be a nice QoL feature, especially for customers, if the calculation took days we defined into the equation and could thus be more specific.
If we wanted to take this a step further, we could also offer a calendar where we can configure holidays and whatnot.
And if we want to take this to…

Reduce data amount in checkout
Modern checkout processes only ask for necessary e.g. only e-mail & password for initial registration and then later in the checkout address step for address information.
In SW6 merchants don't have the flexibility to decide what data and at which step in the checkout it is collected.
More options to configure and individualise would help to increase CR, lower frustration potential on the customer side, and adapt to country specific requirements.13 votes -

maintain products in shopping-cart as long as a payment was not completed. (or succes page was not reached).
Currently when a user cannot complete a payment, he returns to the checkout page with the only option to choose a different payment method.
However: if the user thenleaves the checkout the cart is cleared (= is made empty).
I do not believe that a failed payment automatically cancels the intention of the user to buy what-ever they have put in te cart.
This way you loose potential purchases, when some users are only looking to make some adjustments before continuing to eventually complete the purchase (payment).
I believe it is better to always maintain the full content of the…

Automated Calculation of Fees (Customs & Taxes) in Checkout for International Orders
Currently, Shopware 6 does not provide a native feature for automatically calculating variable fees such as customs duties, import taxes, or country-specific charges during checkout.
However, this functionality is increasingly important for international merchants to ensure a legally compliant and transparent order process.Competing platforms (e.g., Shopify) already offer this functionality as a built-in feature. It enables automated calculation and display of additional fees (e.g., customs duties, import VAT, service fees) based on product value, shipping destination, product category, or customs tariff number (HS code).
In Shopware, this can currently only be achieved through manual configuration using the shipping method…

E 164 standard for telephone numbers
The normalization of telephone numbers according to the E 164 standard should be implemented. Shopware currently allows any values and text in the checkout and customer account when entering telephone numbers. However, this results in problems, as telephone numbers are used for many purposes in ecommerce. For example, DHL Express ODD, Custom Audiences in Google/Meta, international callbacks in customer service, integration of marketing automation for SMS/WhatsApp, etc. The quality of telephone numbers should therefore be standardized and of high quality to make Shopware 6 merchants competitive in a growing international market.

Highlight incomplete CAPTCHA field in checkout
In the current Shopware SaaS checkout, which uses FriendlyCaptcha, users sometimes overlook the CAPTCHA field. After filling out all required fields, they attempt to continue the checkout process, but nothing happens. There is no indication that the CAPTCHA is missing.
While other required fields are highlighted in red or otherwise marked when incomplete, the CAPTCHA field does not receive any visual feedback. This can lead to confusion and interrupt the checkout experience.
It is therefore suggested that the CAPTCHA field be visually highlighted (e.g., marked in red) when it has not been completed, consistent with the behavior of other required…
