  1. The configuration options in the advanced search are numerous and complex to maintain.
If you want to set boostings, actions and synoyms in all storefronts, the same configuration has to be made 24 times in our case, although we only have 4 different languages.
This maintenance effort could be considerably simplified by a migration feature/option.

  2. At the moment, additional fields are completely ignored during migration. However, if these fields were intensively maintained under shopware 5, they should also be present in some form in the variant on the shopware 6 side.

  3. I would like to be able to use the export tool to export all voucher codes redeemed for an order as part of the order export.

  4. Many customers miss the filter functionality they know from Shopware 5 especially because the AI features do not work reliably.
For example the export of orders is often needed for a year or two and the amount of data grows very quickly.

  5. In shopware version 6.5.5.2 it is possible to reference certain mappings in the product import profile by fields other than the id of an entity, which is certainly helpful.

Unfortunately, there is no possibility to do it the same way in the column referencing the properties or categories of a product. No matter which other alternative mapping one chooses, e.g. when exporting the custom product export/import profile in the column for properties/categories the entities are always referenced by their internal IDs separated by "|".

It would be practical to have an option to reference these aforementioned entities by other mappings…

  6. Right now, there is no way to import digital products. Neither using the Im-/Export feature, nor using the API.

It should at least be possible to create/import digital products using the API, because otherwise it is not possible to comfortably connect a different erp-system for digital products or to migrate from another shopware instance.

  7. Import/Export would benefit a lot from having the translated entries for the corresponding UUIDs to make the entries legible in the export.

For example, a commonly requested legible translation is the payment, shipping and order status as well as the product tags. Although, obviously, the more the merrier.

  8. It is currently impossible to import only an updated net or gross price without also providing the other price. The calculation of the missing gross or net price does not take place during import.

If one value is empty in the CSV or not mapped in the profile, the price will not update. No error or indication is shown that it failed.

If both net and gross prices, as well as the price.DEFAULT.linked value, are supplied, both prices will be set exactly as provided, but the gross/net link will not trigger recalculation. This can lead to broken scenarios where tax…

  9. Up to now, the import of variants has only been possible via a multi-level import. If variants are imported frequently, this is very tedious and frustrating.

A single-step import would therefore be desirable so that the main article and the variants are created directly. At least one extension shows that this is possible, but unfortunately it is no longer being developed.

  10. Currently there is no way to export product reviews from Shopware. This prevents us from using this very valuable data throughout the company.

We need an export function for product reviews because it allows shop owners to efficiently analyze customer feedback, identify trends, and improve products and services. This feature also helps with marketing and compliance, making it easier to share insights across all departments and stakeholders.

  11. The fact that there are mandatory fields during import means that unnecessary data (e.g. stock in the event of a price change) is transferred, but this only delays the duration of the import and makes no sense.

For example, it is not necessary to change the stock when changing prices. This is not necessary and only delays the duration of the import. For large customers, the import takes many hours.

It would therefore be desirable to be able to deactivate the dependencies.

  12. The import of new products should be significantly simplified. As in SW5, it should be possible to edit profiles more easily and make ALL nodes/extensions for advanced prices, media, properties, cross-selling, etc. available to provide ALL relevant data for new products in one upload.
In its current form, the import and export process is extremely cumbersome and very inconvenient.

The import/export is currently not available for shopware cli:

  14. Creating rules at the Rule Builder and use those rules e.g., at the shipping methods with all the availability rules is hard and long work. Therefore, it can be very annoying, if I have to transfer Rule Builder & shipping method settings to other shops. Same story with the text snippets in several languages. It would be great if I would have the possibility to export individual or all rules at the Rule Builder and import them into another shop system. Same issue with shipping methods, which have a bunch of availability rules set up. To export/import snippets would be…

  15. The current situation is, that inherited field stay empty when a product export is done. This makes it more difficult to exchange data with other software or just to use spreadsheets to gain special information.

It's a topic that currently needs a workaround for many customers. Perhaps it could be possible to create several export profiles: one for exchange and editing data just for Shopware and one for external exchange.

  16. Customer migrations are tedious and involve a lot of work, as data records are often not transferred to Shopware 6 because they are missing from Shopware 5.

For example, if the salutation of a customer is not filled in Shopware 5, but the field has become a mandatory field in Shopware 6. Or the first name.

To make migrations much easier, the migration wizard should store a meaningful placeholder in such cases so that the data is transferred correctly.

Within Shopware 6, you can then search for these placeholders and adjust the entries. This takes away the frustration that many…

  17. Within Shopware 5, it was possible to select and export data from various database columns for the tax office/tax consultant.

e.g.: ‘all orders from 1.7.2024 to 30.9.2024 and also specify the country of delivery and the tax rate per product’

This is no longer possible with Shopware 6, but should be standard for quarterly tax reports.

  19. If having quite a big amount of promotions where you would like to adjust the sales-channel assignments, you would have to do so manually or directly over the database via sql - if I am not mistaken.

It would be nice if either there would be a mapping for the sales-channel ids in the import-export profile or some kind of bulk edit for promotions.

  20. Since Shopware 6.7 (?) the import / export profiles use technical names. The customer's labelling has been totally erased, although it's still available in the translation table.

Of course the customer can now overwrite the new name default_product-copy-1762844593373 for duplicated profiles. But usually these profiles were marked like "Import prices manufacturer1", "Import prices manufacturer2" and so on.
Means the customer has to check all their profiles correct the technical name, which seems to be the same for any administration language. Please add the labeling again.
