B2B: Template for employees and their roles
As a shop owner, I want to be able to define a set of employees and their roles. Set A: "Quick Order" and "Quote Management"; set B: all B2B components, for example. Maybe it could be combined with the Rule Builder: if rule A is true, set A.

Line break in the activity stream
The activity stream can also be used as a helpful chat to exchange information. Unfortunately, it is not possible to make a line break there. This makes sense when a formal form of address is used.

Offer / Ask for price
In Backend: a checkbox in the product to activate an offer / ask for price. For the shop buyer in the frontend a form opens to request for an offer and ask for price.
In the frontend: the price and delivery status is hidden and the "In shopping cart" button is replaces by "Ask for an offer" button.

Switcher B2B / B2C
As a merchant I want to have the possibility to restrict the product view & price display (VAT) depending on if the customer is a private one or a company.
This should be already possible on the homepage, preferably without just a login screen.

B2B Suite address management
Currently the B2B Suite has the same address fields as the B2C storefront
but it should have some additional fields/options on the different places
to adapt B2B specific needs for addresses (e.g. tax numbers, country display etc.).
Also, it is not possible to edit addresses during the checkout process.15 votes -
Offline functionality for B2B Suite
Some customers work in warehouses or basements where there is often poor to no internet connection. In this case, it would be good to be able to use the B2B Suite offline and place orders.

B2B Suite architectural improvements
Currently it is a lot of effort to deactivate parts of the B2B Suite that a customer does not need. It should be easy choosable, which functionalities are needed and only use them without a lot of coding effort

Selectable b2b email confirmation for contact orders
It should be possible to select if a debtor has to receive the order confirmation from a contact order.
At the moment only the contact receives the confirmation mail and the debtor is only informed when an order should be cleared.
Some merchants would inform the debtor parallel to the contact of an existing order.
Is it possible to activate a parallel mail via option in the debtor?

3D Product Visualization / Configurator
Especially for B2B merchants, basic product configuration solved with our Custom Products feature is not enough. Highly complex and individual configurations must be supported, e.g. to configure products like hardware parts, individual window/door requirements etc.
3D Visualisation could reduce complexity, for example with explosion graphics demonstrating machines and their individual (spare) parts.

Orders without budgets and contingents
As a debtor, I want to have contact with as less restrictions as possible. At the moment a contact needs an assigned budget AND an assigned contingent to place an order. Make it possible to place an order WITHOUT an assigned contingent and budget.

B2B Suite UX improvements
The current B2B Suite usability is too complex at some points, esp. the right & role management. Therefore we should ease up this process and make it clearly understandable

Save & share shopping basket
As B2B customers oftentimes work collaboratively and on a frequent basis with their orders it is handy to have the possibility to save and share shopping baskets with other colleagues.

B2B: Preset of roles/debitors
Problem: Right now you have to configure every single role in a B2B Suite by yourself. This is additional manual effort for customers.

B2B Suite: More nested rules for users/contacts/roles
The debtor should be able to create a central purchase („Zentraleinkauf") with the help of the role administration in the B2B Suite and limit this central purchase to a certain catalog assortment (e.g., only 50,000 of 60,000 products). The central purchasing department, in turn, should also be able to restrict buyers to a certain assortment of only 250 products in the front end within the B2B Suite.

Merge orders
If several orders are waiting for approval or the orders have not yet been processed, it should be possible to merge these orders. This saves customers and store operators effort and money.

B2B Sales Agent functionality (commission, admin, discounts)
Currently sales representatives do not see commissions or general other states about their customers. But this would be helpful for their motivation and ease up the customer management, esp. if there is no ERP system involved, covering up those functionalities already

Identify different sales channels of a customer
Customers of shop owners not only place orders in the store, but also by phone or fax. Orders that were not placed via the store but via other channels should be easy to import, identify and also evaluate in B2B Suite, e.g. with the help of statistics.

Show B2B role (Debtor/Sales Representative) in customer list in administration
As a user in the administration, I would like to see the columns company name and B2B role in the administration of the customers (overview) in order to be able to identify customers more quickly.

Sales representatives could only create an offer
To prevent legal problems when ordering as a sales representative, it would be good if the sales representative could only prepare a quotation for the customer, which then has to be explicitly approved by the customer. So it should be prevented that the sales representative can place orders.
