This is the space where you can share your ideas and feedback about Shopware 6.

How it works:

  2. If you want to add a variant item to an order in the admin, they are unsorted in a dropdown.

    It would be better if only the main variant was visible in the dropdown and then you could select the options of the variant in a second step.

  3. If the customer registers in a wrong sales channel (e.g. in a B2C store, although it is B2B) you cannot adjust this in the admin afterwards.

    It would be very helpful if you can customize this in the admin so that the customer does not have to be deleted and recreated.

  4. in Shopware 5 there are the pseudo sales in the item details. It would be great if these were also available for Shopware 6.

  5. As a user with admin rights you should be able to impersonate a user or a user from a specific user group and view the storefront through his account, without actually signing in to the account.
    This will allow you to see results more quickly and efficiently, especially when creating content spread out over different sales channels.

  6. We want to validate street in the registration for using a number. Customer sometimes forget to enter a number in the street field, so the delivery is not possible. Simply checking for using a number could fix this problem.

  8. As a shop owner I want to make sure, that only certain cart values can be placed as orders in my shop. Otherwhise I want to show a hint or add a surcharge to the cart

  9. The maximum amount of the bulk edit for orders is set to 100.
    It is not possible to process more than 100 orders at the same time, but this is an important function for larger and medium-sized companies that have a high volume of orders per day.
    In Shopware 5 it was already possible to process more than 100 orders via the bulk edit, so it would also be an essential change for Shopware 6 to make this possible up to 250, for example.

  10. Currently, there is no automized stock calculation after a return took place. The stock therefore must be adjusted manually at the moment.

    It would be great if we could implement some functionality / option that automatically re-calculates the stock of returned articles (if desired, as there might be cases where returned articles may not be added to the current stock)

  12. DE: Sofern eine Bestellung via PayPal Express initiiert wird, wird der Name, welcher im PayPal-Konto hinterlegt ist, auch als Kundenname verwendet. Das ist spätestens dann umständlich, sofern der Name in Liefer- und Rechnungsadresse von diesem abweichen, da zur Zahlung ggf. nicht der eigene PayPal Account, sondern beispielsweise der eines Familienangehörigen verwendet wurde. In diesem Fall spiegelt der aus dem PayPal Account verwendete Name in Shopware nicht den tatsächlichen Kunden wider. Problematisch ist zudem, dass wenn nachträglich nach einer bestimmten Bestellung anhand des Kundennamens gefiltert werden soll, nicht der tatsächliche Name des Kunden, sondern der Name des PayPal-Accountinhabers für die Filterung…

  13. Front-end APIs currently require a password to be sent in to authenticate customers into Shopware. Merchants who use a third-party Identity Provider (IdP), they want to have a third party maintain user information for use beyond just the e-commerce channel. In these instances, Shopware should not want to maintain the password for the customer, that should only ever be updated in the IdP. At the moment, the only way for a Merchant to implement SSO is in the fully-hosted model where they would be required to make some code changes to customize the platform.   18. We have noticed that neither in 6.4.x nor 6.5.x is the weight of the product available in the order table or in the payload of the products in Order/OrderLine. Of course you can program something, but really every unnecessary additional field is attached to the order. Therefore, the weight information should also be entered.

  19. It is currently not possible to change the payment status from "refunded" to another status. However, if someone accidentally sets the status to Refunded, there is no way to change it again. It would be desirable to provide the customer with the option of changing the status if the entry is accidental.

  20. If you make a (partial) cancellation and there is an error in the amount, e.g. due to manual adjustment for discounts, then you cannot cancel the cancellation that has already been made correctly, but can only create another (partial) cancellation document. This is probably not correct from an accounting point of view, as it would have to be possible to cancel the cancellation before creating a new cancellation (document).
