This is the space where you can share your ideas and feedback about Shopware 6.

How it works:

  1. Currently, it doesn't matter whether voucher codes are capitalized or not, as long as the code is correct. It would be nice to offer an option for the customer to set whether the voucher codes should be case-sensitive.

  2. In the promotions you can create "Customer rules, Shopping cart rules, Order rules, Product rules". But not every selected rule condition fits to the selected type of rule.

    So you can create rules with conditions, that are not executed in the promotions. This results in errors without error messages.

    Therefore, only Rule Builder conditions should be available that match the type of rule.

  3. As a merchant, I want to plan, create, preview, schedule, execute, track and analyze marketing initiatives in my shop that include CMS pages, promotions, products, payment & shipping options, etc. I want to manage this by connecting and managing all the relevant parts in one place.

  4. As a shop owner I want to sell Coupons that my customers can redeem in the cart process. The difference between Voucher amount and cart amount should be saved to the user.

  5. Add a description field to the promotions as the promotions name is not enough to identify them if you have many active promotions and the naming of the promotion is used as name in the cart so it is not possible to use an indentifyable name in the backend

  8. Used promotions have a position in the cart, given the promotion's name. That name therefore normally should be something "understandable for the customer".
    However when having a larger number of promotions, it can get quite confusion to work internally with all the promotions in a shop, having nothing but these "customer friendly names".

    Solution: The "name" of promotions is their internal identifier. Above that every promotion gets a field for a public "label" which its position in the cart gets labeled when cashed in.

    Example:
    Shop has three different promotions named "10 % new customer promotion", "10 % newsletter voucher"…

  9. It would be useful to have a rule that recognizes duplicate products in the shopping cart.
    The rule could look something like this: Item same product quantity is equal to 2"
    As an application example:
    A store operator wants to give a discount on the second product if there are two of them in the shopping cart.

    So twice product A and once product B there should be a discount on one of the products A.
    Twice product B, but only once product A, there should be a discount on product B.

  10. It is currently not possible to use individual discount codes of a promotion together.
    This means, for example, if you send a customer 4 individual voucher codes with a €50 discount each so that they can redeem their €200 total discount either split up or several codes together, this will not work if the individual discount codes all come from one promotion.

    However, if the individual discount codes come from 4 different promotions, the customer can redeem them in combination.
    This function would be a useful extension for many customers, for example by adding a button in a promotion asking…

  11. Promotion codes should be reactivated automatically (when an order is cancelled).

    Example: An order (with promotion) was set to cancelled after a certain time. Unfortunately, the code still has the status "used". After such or a similar cancellation, the code should automatically be released again.

  12. We create the basis for our promotion campaigns in other systems - customer selection in one and product selection in the other. The financial data of the campaign (cost unit, date, etc.) is set up in SAP. We would appreciate if there were an import for this data in Shopware as we are creating up to 10 campaigns daily for various target groups in our busy months.

  14. The problem is currently, if the services (Google Feed, Doofinder etc.) try to get the feeds and these are generated at the time this fails. It should be thought about if necessary. Always keep the current feed in SW and create the generation in a temporary file.

  15. At present, multiple discounts are always deducted from the total amount of the shopping basket.

    There is also very often the scenario that multiple discounts are to be granted. In this case, the discounts should always be deducted from the new total, as otherwise far too much discount is granted.

    Example
    1. discount:
    from 300 € > 3 % discount
    from 500 € > 5 % discount

    1. discount: 2 % discount

    Here the second discount (2% discount) must not be deducted from the original total, it must be deducted from the new total (after 1st discount).

  17. At the moment it is not possible to create tresholds for promotions within one promotion. I want to create one promotion and say that 30€ gives 10% discount, 40€gives 15% discount and 50€ 20% discount for example. This would decrease the manual effort a lot and increase efficiency.

    If a shop operator has several promotions running at the same time, it is difficult to check or exclude the interactions.

  19. As a merchant I want to define certain actions (f.e. redirects) after steps/actions within the customer journey.

    For example:
    1. When an order is placed, redirect (or open) a special thank you page
    2. When somebody fills out the support form redirect them to the FAQ page to possibly get a quicker answer
    3. When a customer orders worth 1000 Euro send them to a hidden page with a loyalty program benefit

    This is not a topic that we will prioritize anytime soon. There are plenty of vendors out there that offer solutions for it already that can be easily integrated into a shop. The main part is not the guide the customers sees but the management and analytics dashboard so the merchant can continuously create, manage, analyze and optimize the guide.
