Shopware 6 - Product Feedback & Ideas

This is the space where you can share your ideas and feedback about Shopware 6.

How it works:

- Connect your Shopware Account or register with your email
- Use the search or choose a category for your idea to check if it has been submitted already
- Upvote existing ideas, as opposed to creating multiple similar requests. Comment an idea to share extra details.
- If you create a new idea: Be clear with your idea; provide examples or even screenshots
- The more activity and votes an idea has, the higher the chance it will be implemented

  2. Warehouses should have different delivery times per product

    When you add a warehouse to a product you can only add a stock number. It would be logic to actually add a different delivery term per warehouse. Since it's possible that you can't ship at the same pace with all the warehouses.

    Nice to have is inheritance on the field for the standard delivery term.

  3. Storefront Presentation - Expand Properties

    If you expand by a certain property (e.g. "color"), only those property options should be preselected in the listing article. If there are other properties (e.g. "Size") in addition to the color, all expanded items will automatically have an additional size preselected. However, it would be better to pre-select only the "Color" and to display a "Details" button in the listing instead of the "Add to cart" button, so that the user has to select the - in this case "Size" - himself before adding the item to the cart.

  4. "Strike Price = yes/no" rule option for dynamic product groups

    For dynamic product groups, there's only the option to group products according to the difference between the price/ list price ratio.
    To make things easier to handle and understand, there should be an option that just asks if there's a strike-through price at all, and that's it - no ratio, just "yes/ no"

  5. Multi inventory data on OMS and linked to delivery points for pickup in store

    Show which warehouse was chosen in the order management. Also: show in the PDP the addresses linked to the pickup points (now one store can just have 1 address) to do omnichannel. If you want I can show you how VTEX works.

  6. Allow assigning Custom Products templates in bulk

    Allow assigning Custom Products templates in bulk. Right now, you either have to assign a template for each product which takes forever or you do some dirty database magic which may or may not break everything long-term.

  7. Custom products - The available file formats should be the same in frontend and admin.

    It is possible to upload the following file formats in the admin area: JPG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, SVG, BMP, TIFF and EPS.

    At the moment only jpg, png and gif can be used in the frontend.
