It would be nice and helpful for some customers if the payment method was displayed directly in the order overview.

A general extension of possibilities here would be great. For example, have the option to display things like custom fields, manufacturer product numbers, remaining stock and so forth.
Since shop owners all use their shops in wildly different ways, and the order overview is one of the most important menus, this would be a fantastic change. For example more options here would aid a lot in picking the products from storage.

Displaying Payment method and shipment method helps prioritizing orders if express delivery is chosen or to process orders on invoice

In the backend is is critical to not see the payment method. So please extend the order view.
