  1. In Shopware 5, it was possible to pass additional configuration to the S3 adapter in order to add custom headers during media transmission.

Currently, this is not supported, and I haven't found any relevant documentation on this in Shopware. Our current workaround involves setting the headers recursively once a day using a cron job.

Therefore, the first idea is to enable the transfer of additional headers in the S3 adapter.

Moving on to the second idea related to the same S3 adapter topic, it would be incredibly beneficial to have a configurable read/write mode. This is important for every developer.…

  2. For faster maintenance of content in modal dialogs, at least the Cancel button should respond to the ESC key and the Confirm button to RETURN. With TAB all controls should be accessible in a sensible order.
When "quickly" changing values in tables via double-click, accepting/rejecting should also work via RETURN/ESC key.

  3. It would be nice if there is the possibility to create user rights which give the rights to create a product but not to activate it.
So, e.g. an intern could get a user to create products, and an admin can activate them if they are ok.
There could also be automation which sends a mail to an Admin to confirm and activate the product.

  4. Currently the list of additional field sets consists only of the labels of the sets. It would be very nice to have listed there also the entities for which you have assigned them. In addition to the label, which then also appears on the entity (e.g. on the product) as a tab name, there should also be the possibility to assign a kind of internal name, which only appears in the list of sets, so that they can be better distinguished. As an agency, we often like to call the tabs simply "additional info" for our customers. But if we…

  6. Some partners manage the stores for their customers. Therefore it would be great if it is possible to give users more specific rights.
Example A: a user should be able to update the homepage with the shopping experiences, but not the content of the imprint.
Example B: a user is able to edit Flow A of the Flow Builder but not Flow B.
If it is not really comfortable to edit this in the administration, maybe it could be done over a config file, Yaml or Json.

  7. Quick overview of system in terms of Performance (cache status, Redis, average pageload, etc), SEO (404s etc), Products (total products, disabled products, products with no activities within last 24 months (so-called shelf-warmers)), number of actual customers (top customers, etc), Admin users (not logged in for a long time and maybe consider removed, etc).

Also concrete recommendations on features/flags to turn on/off in the installation.

The overall goal would be to continuously get a quick "State of Shopware" and to take actions on important matters.

We currently use https://shopmon.fos.gg/ for this on all our installations, however this would optimally be part…

  9. Currently, a third-party system is necessary to monitor the performance of jobs, amount of processes, error logs, peaks etc. or you cannot monitor them at all even with third-party systems.

  10. EN

When synchronising with other software, the Shopware behaviour that gross and net prices can be transferred independently of each other and without checking the distance, taking into account the tax via API, is a possible source of error.

In other software it is usually "normal" that the net price plus tax results in the gross price. Therefore, it is unexpected when Shopware accepts, for example, a net price of 10 EUR and a gross price of 20 EUR. Is it possible to add a plausibility that optionally reports deviations or triggers an error if the prices do not match?

  11. Add all rules from Dyn. Product Groups into the Rule Builder and merge the Dyn. Product Groups with the Rule Builder. Advantage: The shop owner has one single point of truth where to configure all conditions within the shop. The developers have to maintain one feature instead of two.

  13. As a merchant who wants to migrate to Shopware 6, I want a solution to minimise the effort of data migration from my current shop platform to Shopware 6.

    Example areas:
    - products
    - categories
    - custom products
    - customer data
    - order history
    - content
    - blog
    - etc.

  16. For internationalization, it could be very helpful to support RTL (right to left) languages like Arabic or Hebrew.
I understand that we could rely on localization efforts of the communities in regions where these languages are spoken/written. However, I reckon in this case we could receive at least three different solutions and will not get ahead with translations until these solutions are ready: https://translate.shopware.com/project/shopware6/discussions/30. Hence, IMO it would be better to have a solution by ourselves ready to be used by the community.
In language (not country!) settings, it should be possible to define whether a language is RTL…

  20. The control module enables a merchant to set purchase restrictions e.g. how many items of a product can be ordered in a single transaction.
(e.g. no more than 4 Products of any one reference and 15 Products in total for any consumer of xy products can be added to the shopping cart, ordered, and purchased by a single consumer)

This control module also enables merchants to be vigilant regarding abnormal orders, recurring transactions by the same consumer (e.g. number of Products purchased during the same period, etc.), or consumers for whom links can be established (e.g. IP addresses, delivery addresses,…
