This is the space where you can share your ideas and feedback about Shopware 6.

How it works:

- Connect your Shopware Account or register with your email
- Use the search or choose a category for your idea to check if it has been submitted already

  1. When a layout is created and activated, it will display the actual content from the layout. Once content got changed via categories/layout, it only takes the content from the category. Changing the content again via the page builder does not have an effect anymore, which is correct as the inheritance changed but is confusing.

    It would be beneficial and facilitate daily work if one would see the inheritance from the content in the categories, whether it takes the text from the category/content or the layout.

  3. In Shopware 6, there is the option to edit products via bulk editing. Unfortunately, the ability to adjust the visibility of products is missing. It would be useful if one wants to hide products from search, etc.

  4. In support tickets and in various forums you often read about problems with Shopware updates. It is not uncommon for the store (frontend and admin) to no longer be accessible after an update.

    To avoid destroying the entire store or the customer's test environment, the update should check the accessibility of the frontend/admin at the end. If, for example, the browser returns an error 500, a rollback should be triggered to restore the store to its previous state.

    Currently, the customer is often faced with an unsolvable problem in this case and loses a lot of time until the store…

  5. Customer comments are displayed in orders behind the order number as speech bubbles. I find this implementation excellent. I have taken this a step further and wonder if it would be possible to also add a speech bubble with the ordered items behind the order number. I would find this very practical, as the path to the ordered items is quite long. Especially when customers call and I need a quick overview of the ordered items.

  6. Several customers have contacted us because they thought the discount was not applied during checkout. In reality, discounts and vouchers are only displayed as products, not in the summary of costs. This is completely confusing and, in my opinion, illogical. Discounts and vouchers should be displayed in the same section as shipping costs.

  7. If a maximum order quantity of, for example, "10" is defined in a product and extended prices (1 - 4, 5-10) have also been set up, it makes no sense to display prices "from 11" in the table product-block-prices-grid in the frontend on the detail page. In this case it would be great if we could somehow validate on the max. order quantity and hide everything in that grid that is above that.

  8. Shop owners want to prioritize the sales channel on their own. Therefore it is necessary to sort the sales channels manually. ATM, it is not possible.

  9. To work with a certain list of products, one mainly works with the filter options of the product module. Once the right filter is configured, it would be helpful to directly export that list of products as a CSV file to further work with it. Doing it again via the export module is an extra step and needs some time to get the export profile configured just as the product filter.

    Example: We need to make sure that all our product have fitting product images. Therefore we filter for the products without media in the product module. Now I want…

  10. Add "Formal" Tone of Voice. In Product description automatically "Sie" is used, whereas for the checkout message there is no way to do so. Setting it to "neutral" besides "exited" or "humorous" leads to customers being addressed as "Du".

  12. When creating a custom module via the manifest.xml, the iframe is always full-sized, nicely filling in all usable space in the Administration.
    When creating a custom module using the Admin Extension SDK, the iframe has a dynamic height and is not full sized. This is understandable when using the iframe in a 'card' component, but for a custom module, it should be an option to automatically size the iframe to fill the admin page.

  15. Since extensions from other manufacturers very often cause errors and many customers are not very familiar with databases, an option in the admin would be advantageous to deactivate and activate all non-shopware extensions.

    Customers currently use the following article for this:

    This article is mentioned very frequently in support tickets and, due to its complexity, often leads to customers needing further help because they are not familiar with the database.

    This would save the customer a lot of time and lead to faster ticket resolution in support.

  17. In the current situation you need to manually add a attribuut to the category filter.
    This takes allot of time and is not always flawless, since you need to build up the entire filter every single time when there is a new category added to the shop.

    What i would like to see is a "pre configure filtering" page. On this page you can configure a filter so you only need to add this filter in like a drop down menu so you only need to select a pre configured filter once you made a new category page, something like…

  18. It would be great if there was also the document type Pro Forma Invoice and this would not be statistically included in sales. Then you could create a pro forma invoice for deliveries to third countries with one click and then send it directly to the export warehouse via flow.

  19. We have plenty addresses for a account in big companies, because we import all addresses according to the company, that user can select into there account. Often there are 200-300 addresses. So there is a need to have an search field for searching the company name, street, zip code, country and an individual programmed customer number field for each address.
