This is the space where you can share your ideas and feedback about Shopware 6.

How it works:

- Connect your Shopware Account or register with your email
- Use the search or choose a category for your idea to check if it has been submitted already

  1. Specify what field-values are missing when saving a product having empty mandatory fields

    Currently, if mandatory fields are empty while saving, the following message is shown:

    "1x "This field must not be empty.""

    This often times will lead to uncertainty since the exact field is not mentioned within the error message itself.

    Therefore, it would be nice to have some kind of message that looks like:

    [fieldname]: "This field must not be empty."

  2. Shop metrics & statistics

    Implement shop metrics to enable merchants to see statistics of how their shop performs in terms of visits, orders, conversion rate etc directly in the admin.

  3. Gift card product

    Special product type - gift card, which is also related to store credit and virtual products. Gift card can be physical and virtual.

  4. Remove Admin Worker - CLI Worker as Default

    Get rid of the admin worker and use cli worker as default.

  5. Include all data in email template preview

    In the preview for the order confirmation mail template (Settings > Shop > E-mail Template), some information is not displayed, such as order items or the billing addresses.

    I expect the email template preview to reliably display all available data.

  6. Test orders

    A possibility to carry out orders as a test. So that they are clearly marked as a test or can be deleted again.

    We also have to test our productive system and sometimes documents are created there. Then you can no longer delete an order from Shopware. It would be practical if a frontend user could be put into a test environment in the production system. Or something similar.

    Eine Möglichkeit, Bestellungen als Test durchzuführen. So, dass sie klar als Test gekennzeichnet sind, bzw. wieder gelöscht werden können.

    Wir müssen auch unser Produktivsystem testen und manchmal werden dort Belege erstellt.…

  7. Versioning of CMS pages

    Currently, there is no versioning of the CMS pages in shopware. As in other systems, versioning is for a long-time standard and would be desirable in the shopware CMS too. The option to revert changes or restore an older version of one layout is crucial for a fluid workflow.

  8. Option to change the order of products

    The order in which products are shown in the listing cannot be changed individually, please add an option for merchants to do so.

  9. Deactivate manufacturers in filters

    Not every manufacturer should be filterable. Therefore it should be possible to deactivate manufacturers in filters.

  10. Show assigned category/landingpage in shopping experience

    Working with a lot of shopping experiences is challenging. Currently, it is impossible to see at first glance which category or landing page the layout is assigned.

    It should be directly visible, not only after opening the assignment modal.

  11. File download as content element for CMS

    As a shop owner I want to provide files for download, like press material or other files. Therefore it would be great to have a content element where I can select files from the media manager in Shopware that are listed as a list in the frontend. The files in the list can be downloaded.

  12. Barcode scanning in the search

    The customer should be able to use his mobile phone to create order lists and orders. He can use his mobile phone in the search and scan a barcode, for example. The article number is then inserted into the search field or into the quick order via the barcode. Especially interesting in the b2b sector

  13. Flag whether Shopware takes content from shopping experience or category/content

    When a layout is created and activated, it will display the actual content from the layout. Once content got changed via categories/layout, it only takes the content from the category. Changing the content again via the page builder does not have an effect anymore, which is correct as the inheritance changed but is confusing.

    It would be beneficial and facilitate daily work if one would see the inheritance from the content in the categories, whether it takes the text from the category/content or the layout.

  14. More fields and options in the admin grid

    It should be possible to show the company and the phone number in the admin grid. And it should be possible to export the filtered date of the grid.

  15. Create new / duplicated layouts from the category page

    If you also want to use Shopware to integrate the company website (with integrated shop/product catalog) with a large number of different content pages, there is the problem that you first have to create a layout for each page.

    It should be possible to create new or duplicated (from existing) layouts faster.

    This could be one or two buttons in the category which do the following

    A) "create new layout for this category and assign"
    B) "copy layout of this category to a new category and assign to the category"

    The layout could have an automatic naming based on the…

  16. Enable User Impersonation

    As a user with admin rights you should be able to impersonate a user or a user from a specific user group and view the storefront through his account, without actually signing in to the account.
    This will allow you to see results more quickly and efficiently, especially when creating content spread out over different sales channels.

  17. More options in WYSIWYG editor

    As a content creator, it would be great to have more options to format text. Changing font size and color or adding a class for optional formats would be a good start. With this, it would be possible for example to add accent colors to texts.

  18. Switching CMS elements per drag & drop

    The elements in "multi-element-blocks" can't be switched with each other, they have to be deleted and newly added to the block. It should be possible in the future to just switch them, if possible per drag & drop.
