  1. Currently, if mandatory fields are empty while saving, the following message is shown:

    "1x "This field must not be empty.""

    This often times will lead to uncertainty since the exact field is not mentioned within the error message itself.

    Therefore, it would be nice to have some kind of message that looks like:

    [fieldname]: "This field must not be empty."

    Thank you for your feedback and your patience with this topic!


    In a first iteration, we already improved the error handling for the product module by highlighting the specific tab in which the error occurred and displaying a list of missing fields at the top of the module. In further iterations, we like to specify these messages.

  3. Following the launch of the first iteration of Shopware Analytics, we are continuing to develop the next iterations, which will further enhance functionalities. Additionally, we will steadily introduce a series of new dashboards featuring more metric visualizations. These updates will be rolled out independently of Shopware minor releases, leveraging the flexibility of our App-based service.

    We invite you to explore the new features of Shopware Analytics and share your feedback. Your insights and feedback will be considered during development to ensure continuous improvement.

    UI enhancements and technical improvements

  7. Blogs are an excellent way for businesses to tell stories and generate more traffic around their products. Currently, running a blog requires external setups, which often need coding skills, manual workflows and are disconnected from the shop system. Therefore we will provide an integrated blog functionality as a first example of using custom entities. This will enable merchants to write content, design and publish blog posts without coding skills.

Most of the people first click on the search positions bar if they want to add a position, because the add position button is next to it and it looks like you can search a product there and add this product as position with the button next to it. It's on the quick-order modal (ux1.png) such as on the normal new order window (ux2.png).

    I would suggest to use the searchbar for adding products and the search position bar should only appear if there already is a position inside the order (or maybe 3 or more positions are there).

  9. Currently, the net price changes if you offer products in other countries with different taxes. The gross price remains the same.

    There should be an option to decide for yourself whether the net price remains the same with a variable gross price, or whether the gross price remains the same with a variable net price.

  11. It would be great if videos were not some custom CMS blocks but could be added as media and then used in all blocks where images can be selected to display a video there and rename the block group to media.

  12. Merchants often need to ad a simple script to their theme for example to validate ownership. Therefor there should be a possibility to add scripts to the storefront theme. Maybe integrated into the consent tool.

  13. Please research about whether or not we should implement ZUGFeRD or x-invoice into Shopware and if yes, on how to implement it. Maybe this could be a good starting point (German only): https://stachowitz-medien.de/e-rechnungen/.

  14. When a layout is created and activated, it will display the actual content from the layout. Once content got changed via categories/layout, it only takes the content from the category. Changing the content again via the page builder does not have an effect anymore, which is correct as the inheritance changed but is confusing.

    It would be beneficial and facilitate daily work if one would see the inheritance from the content in the categories, whether it takes the text from the category/content or the layout.

  15. As a content creator, it would be great to have more options to format text. Changing font size and color or adding a class for optional formats would be a good start. With this, it would be possible for example to add accent colors to texts.

  20. A possibility to carry out orders as a test. So that they are clearly marked as a test or can be deleted again.

    We also have to test our productive system and sometimes documents are created there. Then you can no longer delete an order from Shopware. It would be practical if a frontend user could be put into a test environment in the production system. Or something similar.


    Eine Möglichkeit, Bestellungen als Test durchzuführen. So, dass sie klar als Test gekennzeichnet sind, bzw. wieder gelöscht werden können.

    Wir müssen auch unser Produktivsystem testen und manchmal werden dort Belege erstellt.…
