This is the space where you can share your ideas and feedback about Shopware 6.

How it works:

- Connect your Shopware Account or register with your email
- Use the search or choose a category for your idea to check if it has been submitted already
Upvote existing ideas, as opposed to creating multiple similar requests. Comment an idea to share extra details.
- If you create a new idea: Be clear with your idea; provide examples or even screenshots
- The more activity and votes an idea has, the higher the chance it will be implemented

  1. The filter options in the admin should be adjusted a little. For example, it should also be possible to use rules from the Rule Builder to multiply the possibilities.

    An example of this would be
    "Customer - is one of sales channel - XYZ"

    This is particularly useful for marketing purposes if the AI copilot cannot handle things.

  2. Since extensions from other manufacturers very often cause errors and many customers are not very familiar with databases, an option in the admin would be advantageous to deactivate and activate all non-shopware extensions.

    Customers currently use the following article for this:

    This article is mentioned very frequently in support tickets and, due to its complexity, often leads to customers needing further help because they are not familiar with the database.

    This would save the customer a lot of time and lead to faster ticket resolution in support.

  3. More and more providers are prohibiting the sending of emails that do not come from the same domain.

    However, as you can only store the access data of one domain in the mailer, this becomes a major problem as soon as you enter several sales channels with different domains.

    From that moment on, not all messages can be sent or are rejected by the provider.

    "mailbox unavailable\r\n 550 Sender address is not allowed.""

    It should therefore be possible to configure the mailer settings for each sales channel.

    • for example :
      if product A (bottles/flaschen) is added to the cart, then product B (deposit/Pfand) is added automatically

    this should be available for both self-hosted and cloud, as it was requested very often

  4. We occasionally have customers who have errors (PHP exception, 404 etc.) after updating extensions (SW6: Paypal extension, security plugin etc.).

    A reset of the opcache helps in many cases.

    As in Shopware 5, resetting the OPCache should also be possible in Shopware 6 via the admin or via API. This can solve many problems with extension updates.

  5. Why not having the opportunity to insert dates with wildcards like "02.04.*" which would open the possibility to create scheculed time-periods which will be active "every year" or also "every month". My intention is to create time-periods in rules for the sales in year which i could use to show or hide blocks in a template.

  6. In the custom field settings, it should be possible to set the number of decimal places for floating point number fields. If you add this to the config array within the custom field config, it already works. There is only one setting option in the Admin.

  8. We have a big problem with the fact that the discounts are only displayed as a single item. In the case of partial deliveries, the customer only receives the (too high) discount on one invoice and no discount is displayed on the second partial delivery. If products from a partial delivery are canceled, this has no effect on the discount.

  11. In support tickets and in various forums you often read about problems with Shopware updates. It is not uncommon for the store (frontend and admin) to no longer be accessible after an update.

    To avoid destroying the entire store or the customer's test environment, the update should check the accessibility of the frontend/admin at the end. If, for example, the browser returns an error 500, a rollback should be triggered to restore the store to its previous state.

    Currently, the customer is often faced with an unsolvable problem in this case and loses a lot of time until the store…

  12. We currently have 3 sales channels which all work a bit different regarding their sales and payment rules. In addition we will be using promotions extensively. This means that our rule builder is slowly but surely building up with rules and hard to manage. It would be good to be able to flag or group rules and sort / filter them accordingly. Right now we manage with a naming convention, but that's not ideal.

  13. We would love to get back the password generator from shopware 5 for adding new customers from administration. We don't often need it, but in case we need it, it was way more comfortable in Shopware 5.

    If there are any plans for the b2b suite, to give sales representatives the option to add new customers, it would be quite neccessary, I think.

  15. Add "Formal" Tone of Voice. In Product description automatically "Sie" is used, whereas for the checkout message there is no way to do so. Setting it to "neutral" besides "exited" or "humorous" leads to customers being addressed as "Du".

  17. If a wafi is used, smileys usually cause errors during import. An option that prevents the input or automatically converts it to special characters would be very helpful.

  18. If the values for columns cms_page_id and cmsPage within table product will be set to "NULL", the "original" default layout for product pages will be used, although I've managed to set up a new product-page layout and marked it as "default" beforehand.

    Since a different layout was defined as default layout, this particular one should also be used as fallback whenever no layout is assigned.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Create custom product layout
    2. Mark it as new default layout for product pages
    3. For already existing entries --> set values for mentioned columns to "NULL" or simply remove the layout assignment in…

  19. As a shop owner, I want to be able to let customers pay only with prepayment when their return ratio is higher than 50 %, for example. An option "return ratio" within the Rule Builder would be helpful for it.
