This is the space where you can share your ideas and feedback about Shopware 6.

How it works:

- Connect your Shopware Account or register with your email
- Use the search or choose a category for your idea to check if it has been submitted already
Upvote existing ideas, as opposed to creating multiple similar requests. Comment an idea to share extra details.
- If you create a new idea: Be clear with your idea; provide examples or even screenshots

  3. As a user with admin rights you should be able to impersonate a user or a user from a specific user group and view the storefront through his account, without actually signing in to the account.
    This will allow you to see results more quickly and efficiently, especially when creating content spread out over different sales channels.

  4. Currently it is not possible to duplicate promotions and edit the duplicated one afterwards. This would help to be more efficient in the administration.

  6. When you have a lot of pages with properties, it would be a help to look through letters in pagination instead of page-numbers. It would be great to have this option.

  7. The mobil-first approach may be technically lived, but it does not exist in the application. There are no options for mobile content settings or adjustments. Not even a preview exists. Here you can only be reactive on the road. Even the headless approach only affects the display, but not the usability as an admin.

  8. This does not live up to the name, even as an advanced version. Again, not even basic functions like boost and burry, synonyms, redirects or result manipulation are included. In addition, the search cannot be switched off when using external tools (which has its advantages and disadvantages). You are forced to rely on an external solution, although this should be a matter of course for a store and belongs to the basics. Especially with the more expensive packages.

  9. When I want to enter a search term in a search field of a form in the admin, I hardly have time to type in a complete search term. The time after pressing the key until the search is triggered gives me a maximum of (perceived) 200 milliseconds. For example, if I want to search for the word "Man", a brief hesitation leads to the content being deleted after entering "M" and then entering "A" leads to a completely different search result.

    At some points, the edit field also loses focus, so that I have to keep clicking in the…

  10. Invoices should be able to display custom information.
    It should be possible to show the customers own order number (B2B) or additional text at the end of an invoice ( additional claims)

  11. We sometimes have the same layouts selected as templates in some categories. In a few category pages content blocks are not filled. But then there are big gaps. So if the content is empty, the space between the blocks should decrease automatically.

  12. The multiple-address shipping options enable customers to ship an order to multiple addresses during checkout. Each product from the order can be shipped to a different address.

  13. Front-end APIs currently require a password to be sent in to authenticate customers into Shopware. Merchants who use a third-party Identity Provider (IdP), they want to have a third party maintain user information for use beyond just the e-commerce channel. In these instances, Shopware should not want to maintain the password for the customer, that should only ever be updated in the IdP. At the moment, the only way for a Merchant to implement SSO is in the fully-hosted model where they would be required to make some code changes to customize the platform.   14. The possibility to correct the Email should be just as possible as the change of addresses. It happens again and again that typos creep in when entering the email. These can no longer be corrected during the final check by the customer.

    Up to now there is the setting "Enter email twice", but this is cumbersome for the customer and most of the time the email is simply copied into the 2nd field.

  17. After using the Migration Assistant, the 'buy button' is shown in the product listing page even when a product has multiple variants and the main variant has stock>0. Only when the main product stock=0, the 'details' button is shown. In case of variants, the 'details' button should always be shown in listing pages, as without the customer will buy the main product when clicking on the 'buy button'.

  18. If you import customers, for every customer will be sent a registration mail. You can't deactivate the mailer in the cloud to prevent this.

    There will be need an option. Here, not every customer may receive a mail again.

  19. Currently, when you install Shopware, the country and tax configuration is very basic. This is of course because there is no "right" state that covers every scenario for every shop and this should be looked at and configured by every merchant depending on their circumstances.

    However, currently, this requires touching up every single country you plan to do business in individually, which is a lot of work.

    Most shops would probably be able to deactivate taxes for all countries in general and then touch up the ones where they cannot do this - this would be a lot less work.…

  20. In Backend: a checkbox in the product to activate an offer / ask for price. For the shop buyer in the frontend a form opens to request for an offer and ask for price.

    In the frontend: the price and delivery status is hidden and the "In shopping cart" button is replaces by "Ask for an offer" button.
