This is the space where you can share your ideas and feedback about Shopware 6.

How it works:

- Connect your Shopware Account or register with your email
- Use the search or choose a category for your idea to check if it has been submitted already
Upvote existing ideas, as opposed to creating multiple similar requests. Comment an idea to share extra details.
- If you create a new idea: Be clear with your idea; provide examples or even screenshots
- The more activity and votes an idea has, the higher the chance it will be implemented

  1. Currently, orders are being tracked by google analytics on the confirmation page. Challenge: when you click "confirm" you need to connect to a payment provider and for example if your card has insufficient funds the order will be tracked but not actually gone through.
    Solution: Orders should only be tracked on the "finish"/success page - or even better: In the analytics tab in the sw6 admin, you should have a configuration that enables you to set the "location"/time when an order should be tracked acc. to your preference.

    Value for merchant: More realistic/reliant feedback on actual order numbers.

  2. URLs are (from the domain) casesensitiv ("/Clothing" theoretically is sth different than "/clothing") . Shopware corrects that and therefore it´s possible to open any spelling within URLS (e.g. "/cLoThInG" instead of "/clothing"). Within the preview we explicitly spend "/Clothing" as a canonical-URL. Every URL should be lowercase by default.

  3. Currently its not possible to natively configure, if a category should be flagged with
    "index/noindex" and "follow/nofollow", which is necessary for SEO.

    Current workaround: use a custom field and theme-adaptions

  4. To ensure, that merchants can change their categories, shop system etc. without having to worry about the redirection management it would be helpful to have automation mechanisms for this within Shopware.

  5. As a shop owner who has a setup of many different Sales Channels I want to copy a lot of configurations so that I don´t have to maintain everything manually for each channel.

  7. Problem: a lot of effort to maintain multiple E-mail templates for each Sales Channel when using the Flow Builder
    Example: Different E-Mail content for each country-specific SC (the flow builder can't be used with variables in actions)

    Solution:
    A flow that is based on variables changes certain information in an E-Mail template depending on the order location

  8. Problem:
    Currently it's only possible to connect to one SMTP server for emails. There are usecases f.i. SC for different countries that need a separate for each.

  9. Currently you cannot understand, why the search results are as they are other than trying them out in the storefront. This makes it hard to know how to optimize them
    Therefore it would be great to have the possibility to have understandable results (maybe explained ranking, similarity catches etc.)

  13. Problem:
    Merchants don't know which how the search is used by the customer. Therefore it's difficult to optimize and enhance the experience for end user.

    Solution:
    Provide data about most used keywords, errors, search volume, etc.
