This is the space where you can share your ideas and feedback about Shopware 6.

How it works:

- Connect your Shopware Account or register with your email
- Use the search or choose a category for your idea to check if it has been submitted already
Upvote existing ideas, as opposed to creating multiple similar requests. Comment an idea to share extra details.

  1. There should be an option to duplicate CMS blocks to make minor changes to the second one. This is especially helpful if e.g. for a limited time only some minor changes should be visible via dynamic access (make the first one invisible and the second one with small changes visible for timeframe XY), for example for a specific season.

  2. Remove the limitation to 25 results in lists, comboxes, etc.

    If you manage more than 25 languages or have more than 25 promotion rules with similar names - this problem is easy to understand. There are various places in the admin where pagination or auto-reload is given when scrolling.

    The request to Shopware:

    Please make this universal, and don't limit it to max 25 search results.

  3. Due to design restrictions and privacy requirements for YouTube videos, the integration via the element in SW6 should be abandoned. Instead, there is to be a "video suite" in which videos can be uploaded and managed, similar to the media management. It is important that the videos can also differ in language - not like images. Subtitles and different resolutions should also be possible.

  4. As a merchant i want to give discounts to specific customer groups (Rule-based), but not only via promotion (=only in cart), but alkready visible on listings & detail pages (=Strike prices)

  7. Currently sales representatives do not see commissions or general other states about their customers. But this would be helpful for their motivation and ease up the customer management, esp. if there is no ERP system involved, covering up those functionalities already

  8. Challenge: Our dealers need to be able to maintain images for the individual languages individually on the product. Currently, this is not possible because the images are the same for all languages.

    Solution: The merchant can choose, similar to the variants (chain symbol), whether the images on the product should also differ in the languages.

  9. Currently you cannot understand, why the search results are as they are other than trying them out in the storefront. This makes it hard to know how to optimize them
    Therefore it would be great to have the possibility to have understandable results (maybe explained ranking, similarity catches etc.)

  11. Recommendations are currently only manually in Shopware. Based on the new statistics module, it would be cool if shop owner could give their customers recommendations for products. The recommendations could be based on orders already placed by the customer, in which the AI also considers the date and possibly the weather. "Dear customer, this time last year it was so cold/warm that you ordered the following..."

    New: 50, 100, 200

    Default should be 100.

    Why: to see more customers at once and on larger resolution display (higher that FullHD) it is not a problem to see 200 customers at once.

  13. More and more providers are prohibiting the sending of emails that do not come from the same domain.

    However, as you can only store the access data of one domain in the mailer, this becomes a major problem as soon as you enter several sales channels with different domains.

    From that moment on, not all messages can be sent or are rejected by the provider.

    "mailbox unavailable\r\n 550 Sender address is not allowed.""

    It should therefore be possible to configure the mailer settings for each sales channel.

  15. If the values for columns cms_page_id and cmsPage within table product will be set to "NULL", the "original" default layout for product pages will be used, although I've managed to set up a new product-page layout and marked it as "default" beforehand.

    Since a different layout was defined as default layout, this particular one should also be used as fallback whenever no layout is assigned.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Create custom product layout
    2. Mark it as new default layout for product pages
    3. For already existing entries --> set values for mentioned columns to "NULL" or simply remove the layout assignment in…

  17. In 6.4 it was possible to add new billing and/or shipping address to a customer during order creation in admin. Since 6.5 it is no longer the case.
    It would be nice to have that functionality back so that when new order is created manually, there is no need to first adjust a customer by adding a new address in sw-customer module, but to add that address directly via sw-order module and use that address in that order.

It would be great if it was possible to edit the SEO main category of products in an easy efficient way - as in, not having to do this product after product by hand or via API because the former takes forever if you have a lot of products and the latter exceeds what most shop owners are capable of doing on a technical level.

    A DB mapping for it in Import/Export would be a huge improvement already or perhaps a way to do this via Bulk Edit in the Admin would be another way to handle this. That way,…

  19. The manifest.xml should allow more custom field entity types.

    Currently we suggest to add the entity order_line_item.

  20. After saving changes, e.g in the theme, you should be brought back to the same place where you made the changes.

    Otherwise, you have to click there again and again when you want to try out different settings.
