This is the space where you can share your ideas and feedback about Shopware 6.

How it works:

  1. As a merchant with several clients, I don't want all clients to see every shop inside the Shopware Account.
    Therefor it would be great if I were able to apply rights management within the Shopware Account so that a client can only see the shop he/she is responsible for.

    This would make the administration (e.g. installing extensions) easier and more covenient.

  2. Currently, it is not possible to do more than:

    If Option A is chosen, DO NOT ALLOW Option B etc.

    More useful would be being able to do something like this:

    IF Option A is chosen DO NOT ALLOW Option B(1,2,3,5,8)
    Combination: Option A + Option B(4.6,7.9.10) would be possible
    → so Different Combinations can also be done

    OR Enable Rule Builder Integration to hide/show some variations with conditions

  3. There is an implementation in Shopware that the Buy button (into the shopping cart) is displayed directly in the list view if the product has no variants. This is implemented in such a way that the button is displayed if the product.childCount is <=0.
    However, this is problematic for international stores with multiple sales channels. For example, there are products with several variants of which not all are active in the respective sales channel. This becomes problematic if only one variant is active in the respective sales channel. In this case, there is only one variant from the user's point…

  4. If we offer custom products in the shop which are then placed in the shopping basket without an option, the field with the options is displayed in the shopping basket and is empty. For UX improvements field should be shown only if options are selected.
    At the moment it is a bit confusing for customers if additional options are displayed but none have been defined.

  5. In shopware version 6.5.5.2 it is possible to reference certain mappings in the product import profile by fields other than the id of an entity, which is certainly helpful.

    Unfortunately, there is no possibility to do it the same way in the column referencing the properties or categories of a product. No matter which other alternative mapping one chooses, e.g. when exporting the custom product export/import profile in the column for properties/categories the entities are always referenced by their internal IDs separated by "|".

    It would be practical to have an option to reference these aforementioned entities by other mappings…

  6. After saving changes, e.g in the theme, you should be brought back to the same place where you made the changes.

    Otherwise, you have to click there again and again when you want to try out different settings.

  8. Now you can show the delivery time per product in the shopping cart. But it would be better to have an extra option where you can also add the shipping time based on the chosen shipping method. For instance: delivery time for product A = 2 days, shipping method X = 1-3 days and shipping method Y= 4-6 days. Whenever a customer adds product A this his/her shopping cart and choose shipping method X the delivery time will be 3-5 days and when he/she chooses shipping method Y the delivery time for that product will change to 6-8 days.   9. In the custom field settings, it should be possible to set the number of decimal places for floating point number fields. If you add this to the config array within the custom field config, it already works. There is only one setting option in the Admin.

  10. The migration tool offers the option of creating multiple connections. It is also possible to switch connections.

    This is particularly interesting if you want to merge several Shopware installations (or other systems such as Magento) into one Shopware 6 installation. However, if you change the profile during a migration that has not yet been completed by the user with Complete migration, the checksums are mixed up. This behavior has been confirmed by Shopware Support.

    It would therefore be a good idea to add a parameter for the active connection to the checksums to prevent mixing by switching open migrations.

  11. It should be possible to create quotations for multiple quantities in B2B.
    Currently, quantities are combined in an order with a request for quotation.

    Example:

    Product XX - 500 = 50€

    Product XX - 1500 = 130€

    This is currently combined in the shopping cart as it is the same product.

  12. We are planning on implementing the subscription module in Shopware. Most of our customers are currently however paying for subscriptions via Paypal or CC. This is not possible in Shopware and our payment service provider is not interested in enhancing their plugin based on the current status of the Shopware development. So an interface for a PSP or a Shopware payment plugin would be highly appreciated.

  13. According to § 312i Para. 1 S. 1 No. 1 BGB in conjunction with. Art. 246c No. 3 EGBGB, the customer must be provided with adequate, effective and accessible technical means and informed about how input errors can be recognised and corrected before the order is placed. Adequate technical means in this sense are clearly labelled

    In the present case, the e-mail address is not shown on the order page/checkout.

    This must be supplemented with appropriate correction options so that the consumer can recognise and correct incorrect entries.

  14. If the customer registers in a wrong sales channel (e.g. in a B2C store, although it is B2B) you cannot adjust this in the admin afterwards.

    It would be very helpful if you can customize this in the admin so that the customer does not have to be deleted and recreated.

  15. For an external system I need periodically an export of the inventory.
    The import/export is currently not available for shopware cli:

  16. We would love to get back the password generator from shopware 5 for adding new customers from administration. We don't often need it, but in case we need it, it was way more comfortable in Shopware 5.

    If there are any plans for the b2b suite, to give sales representatives the option to add new customers, it would be quite neccessary, I think.

  17. If we build a shopware pwa / frontend you must reverse engineer and reimplement all payment providers by yourself for example, Unzer, SwagPayPal etc.
    Every payment plugin has many payment processes like credit card, sofort, sepa, invoice, invoice and secure and many more.
    Every of these payment processes needs additional information fields like birthday or paypalOrderId or isPaypayExpressCheckout Flag etc.
    But the current state of payment integration doesn't allow it to transfer information in the handlePayment() or createOrder() functions. So every time we must build workarounds for theses functionality.

  18. First and foremost, it would be beneficial to introduce dynamic measurements, allowing for seamless conversion between metric and imperial systems. This is particularly relevant as one of our clients, who operates multiple shops, has a location in the UK.

    Subsequently, a mechanism that automatically adjusts values when switching between imperial and metric systems, and vice versa, should be developed.

  20. When setting a release date for a product or variant, the future release is correctly displayed on the pip.

    When activating the delivery time in the shopping cart, it's shown as calculated from today. For example, the product is shown as being delivered in 2 days from today, which makes no sense when a product may be released in a few weeks or even months.

    It would be better if the delivery time is calculated from the release date, or rather, the release date is simply displayed, as on the pip.
