  1. Custom forms are an element of an experience world and can therefore only be used as part of a category. However, it should be possible to display them in the modal like the standard contact form.

  2. If you enter an email address in the Paypal login window that is not registered with Paypal, you can still be paid via Paypal by direct debit. It should be possible to prevent this.

  3. There are special cases where the customer has to pay a different tax rate based on the zip code, for example. There is currently no way to use a rule to check which tax rate should be charged in such cases.

  4. So far there are rules for checking the stock of a product. However, it would be useful to have a rule that checks whether the number of products in the shopping cart exceeds the number of available stock.

    Customers could use this rule to check whether the order is really covered by the current stock or whether the number of products ordered exceeds the stock.
    This is relevant for the availability of express shipping, for example.

  5. Implement a flag that indicates, if a custom field (set) is in use. Currently, if you would like to delete specific custom fields or a whole set, you don't really see, if they are still assigned in any of the 27 potential entities you can assign a custom field set to.

    On top of that, we currently don't check if a custom field (set) is in use while deleting it.

  6. Currenty, the option for "Visibility" in a CMS block allows using Rulebuilder rules to pick if a block should be displayed or not.
    Using this on a Product detail page is relatively useless, though, because there are no rules referring to the product being displayed. (There are rules regarding to products-in-carts, but those don't work here).

    So, request: Add an option to the rulebuilder that checks the currently-displayed-product that can be used on the CMS templates. Might be extended to "current category being displayed" for more flexibility, too.

  7. The address settings in the country configuration should have an effect on the registration form.
    The current order is always street, town, zip code. For Germany, for example, the correct order would be: street, zip code, town.

  8. Right now, you can force SW to list as many items as you want in a category. Having 96 items on a category page may look good on desktop, but it slows down the mobile view by at least 2 seconds.
    So, it would be a great feature to split the product listing view into Devices. For example, there are 24 items on mobile and 96 items on desktop.
    User and Pagespeed would appreciate that.

  11. There should be a way to customise the order in which the storefront snippet files are loaded.

    Currently the snippet files are loaded in a first come first serve principle.

    For example like this

    vendor/shopware/core
    vendor/mycompany/mytheme/
    vendor/store.shopware.com/
    vendor/mycompany/myplugin/
    vendor/store.shopware.com/swaglanguagepack

    Loading the snippet files should be like this:
    vendor/shopware/core
    vendor/store.shopware.com/
    vendor/mycompany/myplugin/
    vendor/mycompany/mytheme/

    So that you can overwrite all others with the snippet files of your own theme.

  12. When a CSV file is created on a standard Windows PC, as most users still do, it is in DOS ANSI encoding (the normal user does not care about this but simply creates a file). This format is not supported by the quick orders (in the upload).

    It would be great if more formats were supported, OR if a hint text was added to the upload field for the UTF-8 format.

  14. I don't understand why new versions are constantly being released. Shopify releases an update twice a year. Can't you do the same with Shopware? Collect everything or once a quarter and you know in advance what will be optimised. And the release date is fixed, so you can prepare for it. It would simply be structured. Security updates run separately.

    We pay a lot of money for updates because many functionalities are no longer available in the Shopware core and we always have to test all plugins to see if they are compatible again. I'm not even going to mention…

  15. At present, the display of authorisations is still linked to the right to display and edit orders.

    As employees often also process orders but should not be able to view the statistics, a special right is required in the configuration of the authorisations in order to be able to show and hide this display individually for users.

  16. It should also be possible to process discount promotions if orders with this discount have already been placed.

    Some discounts are intended to be used permanently, except that the discount itself changes from time to time. However, this is currently not possible.

  17. There is a small issue that I want to override a cms block, but this will not make it possible anymore for vendor plugins to override the child block. In the screenshot you can see that I want to make changes to the :disabled property, but I want to keep the child block as-is. So vendors can use this child block to override.

    I understand that the {% parent %} only renders the main block and not the nested blocks.
    I suggest to improve the value of this :disabled property to make a new computed function. So we can override…

  18. If you want to use the same sorting of properties for different languages, it is currently very cumbersome, as the sorting cannot be inherited from other languages and cannot be moved in the product using drag and drop.

  19. It would be nice to store in Shopware the outcome of each appointment, linked to the presenter's account (for guided selling and hybrid approaches, but it may be nice to also have it for the self-service):
    customers connected, orders, wishlists.
    So, every sales manager could see the results of each appointment and take actions. The data is already available in real time during the session, so we just miss the data storage.
