This is the space where you can share your ideas and feedback about Shopware 6.

How it works:

- Connect your Shopware Account or register with your email
- Use the search or choose a category for your idea to check if it has been submitted already
Upvote existing ideas, as opposed to creating multiple similar requests. Comment an idea to share extra details.
- If you create a new idea: Be clear with your idea; provide examples or even screenshots

  1. At the moment it's not possible to give customers a specific credit (sth like a "prepaid" amount), so that it's not paid by the end customer but by the merchant.

  5. For internationalization, it could be very helpful to support RTL (right to left) languages like Arabic or Hebrew.
    I understand that we could rely on localization efforts of the communities in regions where these languages are spoken/written. However, I reckon in this case we could receive at least three different solutions and will not get ahead with translations until these solutions are ready: https://translate.shopware.com/project/shopware6/discussions/30. Hence, IMO it would be better to have a solution by ourselves ready to be used by the community.
    In language (not country!) settings, it should be possible to define whether a language is RTL…

  6. As a shop owner who has a setup of many different Sales Channels I want to copy a lot of configurations so that I don´t have to maintain everything manually for each channel.

  7. Problem:
    Currently it's only possible to connect to one SMTP server for emails. There are usecases f.i. SC for different countries that need a separate for each.

  8. At the moment it is not possible to select a category as landing page and a landing page as a category in the category tree just by sorting with drag and drop. The expectation is to sort all categories AND landing pages at once within the category tree, and with that also convert a landing page to a category or vice versa.

  9. Sometimes it is hard to get the all shopping experiences well organized. Therefore it should be possible to deactivate shopping experiences. Deactivated shopping experiences can´t be assigned to a category or landingpage.

  11. As the person responsible for quotes/offers that need to be released, I may have little time. It would be very helpful to be able to release the quote/offer via link. The link is in the mail that has arrived accordingly after the quote/offer of the customer me in copy as the person responsible.

  14. Status quo
    Presently, if you want to make even slight changes to an existing theme, it is necessary to write a plugin/app for this alteration.

    In order to lower the "barriers of entry" for non-developers and to de-clutter the amount of necessary plugins, it might be a good choice to introduce a template override/overwrite system.

    Depending on the necessary resources, this might be applied either database of file based.
    File based: have a custom theme folder that only contains changed template files (in original structure) and will never been overwritten by an update/upgrade. If this folder contains any altered files,…

  16. Now FB channel must be linked to a storefront. This is not usable for headless projects using external CMSs. Therefore every customer using headless cannot also use a social channel (FB, Instagram etc.) in combination.

  17. As a shop owner, I want to be able to operate several stores (clients) in one installation. Each store should be able to be filled, operated, and configured independently. Users can be assigned to one or more stores (clients).

  19. In picture sliders, commerce sliders, multi-element-blocks, the max quantitiy of elements visible side by side at once is capped at 3 (except of the cross selling block afaik). The customer should be able to choose a number higher than three. A full sized commerce slider with only three products visible is just too little and the three ones visible are way too big

  20. Currently it's only possible to choose the "picture with text" block to add text to a picture. It should be possible to add text to pictures within a slider aswell.
