This is the space where you can share your ideas and feedback about Shopware 6.

How it works:

- Connect your Shopware Account or register with your email
- Use the search or choose a category for your idea to check if it has been submitted already
Upvote existing ideas, as opposed to creating multiple similar requests. Comment an idea to share extra details.
- If you create a new idea: Be clear with your idea; provide examples or even screenshots
- The more activity and votes an idea has, the higher the chance it will be implemented

  1. If a variant is not available through Dynamic Access, it will still be displayed on the product details page. If you then select it, another variant will be selected.

    There should be an option to hide unavailable variants completely so that they are no longer displayed.

  2. It should be possible to display both main products and individual product variants in the cross-selling area. It is a great advantage for shop owners that you can set both.
    For example, if a customer has selected a children's mattress in the size 70x40cm, it would be optimal to also have the matching fitted sheet suggested in this size. However, there are no matching versions for other products. There, it would be better to have the main product suggested without a size selection and with a 'from' price.   3. When you add a warehouse to a product you can only add a stock number. It would be logic to actually add a different delivery term per warehouse. Since it's possible that you can't ship at the same pace with all the warehouses.

    Nice to have is inheritance on the field for the standard delivery term.

    The number of requests to expand the options for shipping methods is increasing. Many customers who come from Shopware 5 miss the option of entering individual calculations or combining standard shipping methods with surcharge or discount shipping methods. I'll take DHL as an example here. When shipping abroad, the EU / non-EU distinction is used, the destination countries are divided into zones, there is a basic price and a surcharge per kilogramme.
    This can of course be mapped with Rule Builder and the current shipping methods, but if I send goods weighing up to, say, 100 kg, it means…

  5. It would be nice to set up an e-mail notification for a customer group request, e.g. via a flow in the Flow Builder. So far it is only possible to receive the e-mail notification for a customer group with a registration form after you have accepted or rejected the customer group request in the admin. An e-mail as soon as a customer has requested registration for a customer group would be a useful new feature for many customers.

  6. Implement triggers that validate on specific fields / entries within a (custom)-form.

    For example: If field1 (checkbox) is true / checked, then perform action xy on customers.

  7. Payment methods currently have a white frame on the main page of the store. This is not the case for shipping methods and therefore results in a different appearance.

    To be recreated in the standard Elle theme.

    • copy & paste results in horrible HTML code (very long and unhappy)
    • there is the possibility to paste HTML code, but when switching to the normal editor afterwards, it just deletes my input. And this is true for every piece of HTML code, even a simple p-tag!
      • Images or tables can't be inserted (except via HTML, but that's not possible, because the editor deletes my HTML every time I change the settings).

  8. There is a function for canceling orders directly by the customer in the frontend / customer account.

    Currently, this cannot be set any further, so that, for example, orders that have already been dispatched or completed can also be canceled.

    There should be setting options for when a customer can cancel an order in the customer account.

  9. In Shopware 5, it was possible to set the option to "bind customers to the shop" for each shop.

    In Shopware 6, the config is only global. So it is not possible to set this for each sales channel separately.

  10. It can often be useful to "re-trigger" an order that has already been placed for the customer. This should be possible via the admin and can save a lot of time in day-to-day business.

  11. Currently, there is no versioning of the CMS pages in shopware. As in other systems, versioning is for a long-time standard and would be desirable in the shopware CMS too. The option to revert changes or restore an older version of one layout is crucial for a fluid workflow.

  12. I would love it if, in addition to the installation date of an extension, if the update date would also be displayed in my extensions.

    As of now, I know when the extension was installed, but not when it was updated.

  17. Currently the settings for a CMS block apply to each viewport.

    It should be possible to set different settings for each viewport.

    Example: product slider
    On desktop, articles should have a minimum width of 300px.
    For mobile, however, a minimum width of 100px.

    This can currently only be implemented if the CMS block is created separately for each viewport. This causes more effort and is not optimally solved.

  18. If you want to assign products in the category configuration, they are only displayed with their name but without a product number.
    For products with the same or similar names, it can be difficult to assign the correct products.

    The product numbers should also be displayed here.

  19. It should be possible to show:

    the name of the color next to the picture
    or
    a short description next to image
    with properties applied.

    Reason:

    - names for people with color weakness
    - some shops have several variants of, for example red. So the name or color code would be very useful
    - description for not self explaining pictures would be much better for customers
