  1. When selecting either shipping or payment method, Shopware changes the sorting of the methods so that the selected method is moved to the top.

    There is no logic behind this, and it is very poor UX, as the user gets very unsure whether they chose the right option, since the one selected was moved.

    Strongly suggest simply changing it so that the selected method is kept at the position it was at originally (from the initial sorting of the method from Admin).

  2. Promotion codes should be reactivated automatically (when an order is cancelled).

    Example: An order (with promotion) was set to cancelled after a certain time. Unfortunately, the code still has the status "used". After such or a similar cancellation, the code should automatically be released again.

  3. We would prefer that after the one-to-one replacement of images in the media manager automatically clears the cache.
    This is already known from other CMS systems.

    The reason why the feature would be good is that the page does not display an image without clearing the cache. Since the old assignment was overwritten and the new assignment is not active

  5. DE: Sofern eine Bestellung via PayPal Express initiiert wird, wird der Name, welcher im PayPal-Konto hinterlegt ist, auch als Kundenname verwendet. Das ist spätestens dann umständlich, sofern der Name in Liefer- und Rechnungsadresse von diesem abweichen, da zur Zahlung ggf. nicht der eigene PayPal Account, sondern beispielsweise der eines Familienangehörigen verwendet wurde. In diesem Fall spiegelt der aus dem PayPal Account verwendete Name in Shopware nicht den tatsächlichen Kunden wider. Problematisch ist zudem, dass wenn nachträglich nach einer bestimmten Bestellung anhand des Kundennamens gefiltert werden soll, nicht der tatsächliche Name des Kunden, sondern der Name des PayPal-Accountinhabers für die Filterung…

  6. We want to use the media library to provide PDF files for download on CMS pages. While there are special plugins for this, sometimes a simple link would do.

    Current process:

    1. go to media library
    2. finde the PDF
    3. use copy link
    4. go to CMS page
    5. click the "link" button
    6. choose URL option
    7. paste the link, remove the base URL (for better portability between development and production instances)

    A better approach would be to be able to directly link to media files in place.

  7. The automatic calculation of the bundle price through the bill of materials assignment, both for purchase price and sales price, would be very helpful. Ideally, the purchase price should also be automatically adjusted if the individual bill of materials items are changed in price.

  11. Hello! We would like to check our business customers in advance. That's why they only have to fill out a form, which is sent to us. We then create the customer. To do this, registration and guest orders for the sales channel would have to be specifically deactivated. A form on the registration page would be great

  12. It should be possible to create product sliders with data mapping, which can be filled with the top sellers of a category, for example. This would make the manual creation of dynamic product groups obsolete.

  14. Currently, it is not possible to do more than:

    If Option A is chosen, DO NOT ALLOW Option B etc.

    More useful would be being able to do something like this:

    IF Option A is chosen DO NOT ALLOW Option B(1,2,3,5,8)
    Combination: Option A + Option B(4.6,7.9.10) would be possible
    → so Different Combinations can also be done

    OR Enable Rule Builder Integration to hide/show some variations with conditions

  15. If we offer custom products in the shop which are then placed in the shopping basket without an option, the field with the options is displayed in the shopping basket and is empty. For UX improvements field should be shown only if options are selected.
    At the moment it is a bit confusing for customers if additional options are displayed but none have been defined.

  16. It should be possible to select if a debtor has to receive the order confirmation from a contact order.

    At the moment only the contact receives the confirmation mail and the debtor is only informed when an order should be cleared.

    Some merchants would inform the debtor parallel to the contact of an existing order.

    Is it possible to activate a parallel mail via option in the debtor?

  17. After saving changes, e.g in the theme, you should be brought back to the same place where you made the changes.

    Otherwise, you have to click there again and again when you want to try out different settings.

  19. The migration tool offers the option of creating multiple connections. It is also possible to switch connections.

    This is particularly interesting if you want to merge several Shopware installations (or other systems such as Magento) into one Shopware 6 installation. However, if you change the profile during a migration that has not yet been completed by the user with Complete migration, the checksums are mixed up. This behavior has been confirmed by Shopware Support.

    It would therefore be a good idea to add a parameter for the active connection to the checksums to prevent mixing by switching open migrations.

  20. As a shop owner I want to be able to have a detailed view on my customers. I want to know when the customer was created in Shopware and when the customers ordered the last time. Therefore I need the last order date and the creation date on the customer detail page and in the overview within the administration.
