  1. Following the launch of the first iteration of Shopware Analytics, we are continuing to develop the next iterations, which will further enhance functionalities. Additionally, we will steadily introduce a series of new dashboards featuring more metric visualizations. These updates will be rolled out independently of Shopware minor releases, leveraging the flexibility of our App-based service.

    We invite you to explore the new features of Shopware Analytics and share your feedback. Your insights and feedback will be considered during development to ensure continuous improvement.

    Now that we have released the beta phase of our new service, Shopware Analytics, we will focus on polishing and expanding the service to get it out of beta as soon as possible.

  3. Blogs are an excellent way for businesses to tell stories and generate more traffic around their products. Currently, running a blog requires external setups, which often need coding skills, manual workflows and are disconnected from the shop system. Therefore we will provide an integrated blog functionality as a first example of using custom entities. This will enable merchants to write content, design and publish blog posts without coding skills.

  4. It should be possible to define whether a contact or the debtor should receive mails just as order confirmations (for example).

    Currently, by default, only the debtor is receiving such mails.

  5. It should be possible to delete documents, especially invoices.

    Several reasons why it should be possible are listed here: https://forum.shopware.com/t/loeschen-von-dokumenten-nicht-mehr-moeglich/97011

    Without this function you cannot really test the invoice generation on a production system and you cannot change false invoices that customers have never received.

    Due to a bug multiple invoices can be created for the same order with the only difference of the invoice number. Currently you cannot delete the redundant invoice.

  6. Most of the people first click on the search positions bar if they want to add a position, because the add position button is next to it and it looks like you can search a product there and add this product as position with the button next to it. It's on the quick-order modal (ux1.png) such as on the normal new order window (ux2.png).

    I would suggest to use the searchbar for adding products and the search position bar should only appear if there already is a position inside the order (or maybe 3 or more positions are there).

  7. Storage stock alert / warning via Email:

    • Minimum stock per item can be defined
    • daily notification of affected items

    In Shopware 5 there was a function to define a minimum stock per article. If this was undercut, the system sent an email message to the admin so that the stocks could be replenished.

  8. It must also be possible to change the shipping method and payment method later in the admin.

    A scenario that occurs again and again and must be possible.

    Example:
    A customer orders online (prepayment and DHL shipping). However, the customer now comes to us directly. Now we need to be able to change the customer's payment method and shipping method in the store backend as an admin.

    Or I have to change the shipping method for a company order from DHL to freight forwarding.

  9. Currently, the net price changes if you offer products in other countries with different taxes. The gross price remains the same.

    There should be an option to decide for yourself whether the net price remains the same with a variable gross price, or whether the gross price remains the same with a variable net price.

  10. It should be possible to log in directly to the customer account via the admin again in the "Standard".

  11. Currently, there is a scheduled task running (CleanupUnusedDownloadMediaTask) which deletes unused media and basically runs media:delete-unused.

    It would be nice if we provided an option - probably best in the media manager - to set folders to be excluded from that task, maybe in the folder settings.

  13. More and more providers are prohibiting the sending of emails that do not come from the same domain.

    However, as you can only store the access data of one domain in the mailer, this becomes a major problem as soon as you enter several sales channels with different domains.

    From that moment on, not all messages can be sent or are rejected by the provider.

    It should therefore be possible to configure the mailer settings for each sales channel.

  14. If you use language inheritance (for example Italian and Swiss-Italian as inherited language) you can select both languages in the administration.

    In order to use the inheritance you have to enter the Italian Translation first. It will inherit to Swiss-Italian.

    If you ever (accidentally) save a translation for Swiss-Italian there is no way to revert to language inheritance for the record you saved. If you ever need to update the record you will always have to save it in Italian and in Swiss-Italian.

    There should be a way to delete the translation and reactivate the inheritance

  15. Some Online Merchants suffer from recurring guest accounts, cluttering the database. It would be good to have some kind of a configurable mechanism to delete guest accounts after the order is proceeded or after a specific time (month, years).

  16. Recommendations are currently only manually in Shopware. Based on the new statistics module, it would be cool if shop owner could give their customers recommendations for products. The recommendations could be based on orders already placed by the customer, in which the AI also considers the date and possibly the weather. "Dear customer, this time last year it was so cold/warm that you ordered the following..."

    1. I added a product slider via Content > Experience Worlds (???) > Landing Pages.
    2. I added products to the slider.
    3. I cannot change the order of the products in the slider but need to delete all products and start over again.

    Solution: It should be easily possible to change the sort order of products listed in the product slider without starting over again.

  18. It would be a nice option to have the possibility to exclude Sundays for example from the delivery time calculation. Of course, we can already cover this with the delivery time SPAN and NAME of the delivery method, saying 1-3 WORKdays or something.

    But it would be a nice QoL feature, especially for customers, if the calculation took days we defined into the equation and could thus be more specific.

    If we wanted to take this a step further, we could also offer a calendar where we can configure holidays and whatnot.

  19. When working with a surcharge and a rule, the base price is still always displayed in the frontend. It would be nicer if the pricing rule were triggered as soon as the "Start Configuration" button is clicked, so that the correct price is displayed. The calculation in the shopping cart is then correct again, it's just the display that is not.
