Structured data for AI readability
I recently stumbled upon this press release by one of our partners - basically an ad for their plugin: https://www.openpr.de/news/1299320/Shopware-Shops-werden-KI-sichtbar-mitho-veroeffentlicht-KI-Agentic-Commerce-Plugin.html
However, as Shopware wants to go ahead with AI massively, the proposed features seem to be basic when it comes towards being prepared for AI readability:
- structured product and category feeds in JSON format
- llms.txt and other manifests for AI
- precise microdata and JSON descriptions of variants, prices, shipping etc.

Missing order line item status for partial cancellations
When a partial cancellation of an order line item occurs, it is unclear which status should be used.
Example scenario:
An order contains a line item with a quantity of 10 units. Due to limited availability, 2 units are canceled and refunded, while 8 units remain fulfilled. Conceptually, the line item would require a status such as “partially canceled”.However, no such status exists for cancellations. In contrast, a “partially returned” status is available for returns.

Change configuration category layout / homepage configuration
Recurring support tickets indicate that the shop's homepage configuration is not centralized enough.
Firstly, the shop's homepage is determined by the category layout. Secondly, the homepage can also be set within the category itself (under the "General" tab -> "Homepage" option).
These numerous different configuration options conflict with each other and lead to unnecessary support tickets. The configuration should therefore be simplified.

B2B Components: allow modification of Employee invite timeout
Currently there is a hard coded timeout of 2 hours when employees are invited into an organization in B2B Components. Shop owners and potentially customers should be able to modify this time to fit their needs.

Quantity-based surcharges in Custom Products
Current Situation / Problem:
Custom Products allow merchants to offer additional services or configurations (e.g. sawing, drilling, processing) with fixed surcharges per selected option.
These surcharges are currently static and independent of the ordered quantity of the main product. While tiered pricing can be configured on the product level, it cannot be applied to Custom Product options or their surcharges.
Concrete Use Case
A merchant sells steel beams (e.g. HEB / HEA) and offers optional processing services via Custom Products.Example: Option “Sawing”
- Sub-options: Fixed cut, Center cut, Mitre cut
- Current behavior: fixed surcharge, e.g. €15 per cut
Desired behavior:…

Inconsistent Stock Management Between Parent and Variant Products
I have an item that comes in two versions, one physical and one digital.
I can still change the stock level in ParentProduct as the main product, but it has no effect on the stock level of the physical variant (the digital one has 0 anyway, because it is infinite).
Either this should also be inheritable, so that you can set the stock level in the parent product without having to go into the physical variant, or it should be greyed out in the parent product, as it has no function anyway.Ich habe einen Artikel, der hat zwei Varianten,…

Rule-based hiding of Buy button
In Shopware 6, the visibility of products can already be controlled via rules by using the dynamic access extension (up to a certain point, as the stock is not being validated). However, there currently is no native way to hide or disable the “Buy / Add to cart” button based on rules, especially when combining customer groups with product stock conditions.
In B2B and hybrid B2C/B2B scenarios, it is common that products with stock = 0 (with closeout enabled) should still be orderable for specific customer groups, while the buy button should be hidden or disabled for all other customer…

Adjustment of Document File Names with Placeholders for Customer Data
Shopware does not support the use of placeholders for customer number, customer name, company name, and date in document file names. This makes efficient and precise management of generated files more challenging.
To optimize the categorization and archiving of documents, it would be highly beneficial to allow placeholders for the mentioned customer data in both the prefix and suffix of the file name. This would significantly simplify the handling of documents and improve the overall user experience of the software.
We kindly request that this functionality be integrated into a future version.

Make the validity of the guest order link (deep link) adjustable
Currently, the link for guest orders is only valid for 30 days. This value is hard-coded in the source code in such a way that it cannot be easily overwritten with a simple event listener. It is necessary to decorate the entire OrderRoute and completely override the
load()method in order to adjust the value within thefilterOldOrders()method, which is unfortunately private. The value of 30 days is often far too short, especially when the shop works a lot with pre-orders that can be ordered months in advance. The support effort for this is immense.
At the moment, the…

Different texts for error messages regarding promotion codes provide clearer instructions to the buyer. Currently, only one text is possible
We want different texts for error messages with a promotion code showing our customers why they can not use this code - for example 150 Euros + ... then 5% discount - 100 euro in the shipping card - text " buy for 50 more euros to get the 5%" ... something like that.

Don't use the first page of a paginated sequence as the canonical page
Use URLs correctly:
- Give each page a unique URL. For example, include a ?page=n query parameter, as URLs in a paginated sequence are treated as separate pages by Google.
- Don't use the first page of a paginated sequence as the canonical page. Instead, give each page its own canonical URL.
Currently, the canonical page in categories is always the first page. Without pagination URLs.
According to Google, the canonical URL should be set up including pagination.
Please correct this.

Inheritance of elements in CMS pages
DE:
Nun entsteht dadurch folgende Problematik:
Sollte somit…

ZIP code validation only takes effect once all other mandatory fields have been filled in during checkout.
While testing the checkout process, I noticed inconsistent behavior when validating the postal code.
Steps to reproduce:
Go to checkout.
Select country.
Enter an invalid value in the “Postal code” field (e.g., asdasd or asd123).
Leave at least one other required field blank.
Click “Continue.”
Result:
All required fields are marked as incorrect except for country and zip code.
The zip code is not displayed as invalid in this state.Further behavior:
As soon as the previously missing required field is filled in, the zip code validation takes effect retrospectively and the field is then marked as incorrect.Expected behavior:…
