This is the space where you can share your ideas and feedback about Shopware 6.

How it works:

- Connect your Shopware Account or register with your email
- Use the search or choose a category for your idea to check if it has been submitted already
Upvote existing ideas, as opposed to creating multiple similar requests. Comment an idea to share extra details.
- If you create a new idea: Be clear with your idea; provide examples or even screenshots

  1. Modern checkout processes only ask for necessary e.g. only e-mail & password for initial registration and then later in the checkout address step for address information.
    In SW6 merchants don't have the flexibility to decide what data and at which step in the checkout it is collected.
    More options to configure and individualise would help to increase CR, lower frustration potential on the customer side, and adapt to country specific requirements.

  3. URLs are (from the domain) casesensitiv ("/Clothing" theoretically is sth different than "/clothing") . Shopware corrects that and therefore it´s possible to open any spelling within URLS (e.g. "/cLoThInG" instead of "/clothing"). Within the preview we explicitly spend "/Clothing" as a canonical-URL. Every URL should be lowercase by default.

  4. Should be instead of: 10, 25, 50, 75, 100

    New: 50, 100, 200

    Default should be 100.

    Why: to see more orders at once and on larger resolution display (higher that FullHD) it is not a problem to see 200 orders at once.

  5. More and more providers are prohibiting the sending of emails that do not come from the same domain.

    However, as you can only store the access data of one domain in the mailer, this becomes a major problem as soon as you enter several sales channels with different domains.

    From that moment on, not all messages can be sent or are rejected by the provider.

    "mailbox unavailable\r\n 550 Sender address is not allowed.""

    It should therefore be possible to configure the mailer settings for each sales channel.

  6. After manual status change in the orders, even if I delete all the flows in the shop, Shopware6 always asks me to send emails to the actual customers. I need settings the skip this step.

  7. Search for custom fields, which are assigned/available in admin panel e.g. in orders or customers. The simplest thing would be to extend the search range so that the custom fields can also be searched. The AI Cockpit can already do this, it just needs to be extended to the search. Usage e.g. for Authorities, distributors, public offices or organizations that use internal order numbers and refers only to this numbers. Data that is fed into the custom fields in reverse from external merchandise management systems, etc.

    Display variants permanently in the product overview via option. It is repeatedly pointed out that it is inconvenient for editing that information on variants can only be viewed after opening the main product, for example, prices or stock.

  9. At the moment there is no basic feature to adjust the subscription prices of already subscribed apps or plugins.

    In the future, there should be the possibility to adjust the prices even after signing up for a subscription.

    Especially in times of high inflation and annually increasing costs (hosting, employees, other expenses) it is important that there is the possibility of price adjustments.

  18. It must also be possible to change the shipping method and payment method later in the admin.

    A scenario that occurs again and again and must be possible.

    Example:
    A customer orders online (prepayment and DHL shipping). However, the customer now comes to us directly. Now we need to be able to change the customer's payment method and shipping method in the store backend as an admin.

    Or I have to change the shipping method for a company order from DHL to freight forwarding.

  19. The products linked in "Cross Selling" tab should also optional appear at cart / checkout, based on all products at cart.

    The merchant should set the appropriate Cross Selling title.
    And: the merchant should be set max products showing at the cart (e.g. 5). Should also work for off-canvas cart.
