maintenance mode without own path
Make active Maintenance-Mode not redirect to another path. Render the maintenance page with the status code if the maintenance mode is active, keeping the current URL.
This makes the customers happy. while they don't need to find out where they were before.

Improve Google Analytics order placement tracking
Currently, orders are being tracked by google analytics on the confirmation page. Challenge: when you click "confirm" you need to connect to a payment provider and for example if your card has insufficient funds the order will be tracked but not actually gone through.
Solution: Orders should only be tracked on the "finish"/success page - or even better: In the analytics tab in the sw6 admin, you should have a configuration that enables you to set the "location"/time when an order should be tracked acc. to your preference.Value for merchant: More realistic/reliant feedback on actual order numbers.

Lack of Insert-Anywhere Function for Sections in Shopping Experiences
In many of our CMS projects, we regularly need to insert new sections into the middle of existing Shopping Experience pages.
Problem:
Currently, Shopware only allows new sections to be added at the top or bottom of the page. If you want to place a section between two existing ones, you must:Add the new section at the end or beginning.
Manually drag and drop it up/down through the page structure.
For longer pages, this is time-consuming and error-prone.
Wish / Recommendation:
A simple solution such as a “+” button between sections (like in many visual builders)…1 vote -
Enable Variant Changes Directly in the Shopping Basket and Checkout
Currently, when customers want to change a variant of a product already added to the shopping basket — for example, choosing a different size or color — they are required to leave the basket or checkout and navigate back to the product detail page. This process interrupts the purchasing flow and increases the likelihood of order cancellations or customer frustration.
With this enhancement, customers should be able to easily modify product variants directly from the basket or checkout interface.
Functional Proposal:
Add a variant selector for each product line item in the shopping basket and checkout.
When a customer…

Unsaved changes reminder before leaving
When you apply changes to products as an example, and you by mistake click on the "return to overview" button, all changes are lost. It would be nice, if before leaving the page, a pop up with a unsaved changes reminder would show up.

Buy Button
There is an implementation in Shopware that the Buy button (into the shopping cart) is displayed directly in the list view if the product has no variants. This is implemented in such a way that the button is displayed if the product.childCount is <=0.
However, this is problematic for international stores with multiple sales channels. For example, there are products with several variants of which not all are active in the respective sales channel. This becomes problematic if only one variant is active in the respective sales channel. In this case, there is only one variant from the user's point…2 votes -

Add selection field in user profile settings for measurement preferences
When a user changes the unit in a product, this change is applied at the user level and stored in the database in the
user_configtable with the keymeasurement.preferenceUnit. If there is already a dedicated entry for this in the database, it would be nice if the selection could be changed directly in the user profile.1 vote -
Provide a new variable "shopping.description" for the layout section.
If you create a shopping page in the shopping experiences, e.g. for shipping costs or payment methods, and insert the content there, the content is displayed in the modal window.
If you now create a corresponding category for the store footer, you can assign the layout, but the content is not displayed when you click on the link in the footer.
Unfortunately, there is obviously no variable available yet that can be used to achieve the data mapping.
Just like the variable "category.description", a new variable such as "shopping.description" is therefore required. If there is another way that I have…

Integration of background videos in worlds of experience
It is currently not possible to integrate a background video - comparable to the display on https://scd.shopware.com/ - natively into a CMS page with the standard experience world elements in Shopware 6. Although video and HTML elements exist, these do not allow a combination of background video and overlaying content (e.g. text, buttons, HTML block).
The integration of a video as a background is a common design element in modern web design and is used in particular for landing pages, campaigns or emotional brand appearances. The current CMS structure only allows this with considerable technical effort (e.g. through individual…

Default layout specific for different sales channels
EN
We have been waiting for this feature for a long time, a category layout created by us set as default layout, super, mega, awesome since SW6...... however, this category layout is applied to all our sales channels. This is unfortunately impractical as we have three different brand stores, and the category layouts can and should be visually different from each other.Example:
Store 1 has custom category layout for its category pages
Store 2 has custom category layout for its category pages
Store 3 has custom category layout for its category pages

Better filter options within e.g. customer and order overview
If you work with the customer and order overview on a daily basis, this quickly leads to frustration.
For example, the number per page cannot be set and is far too low. This should be 100 or 200. Otherwise the unnecessary effort is too high and the work quickly becomes frustrating.
Also, the filter or listing is often reset when changing pages. This also takes an incredible amount of time.
We would like to see better handling here.

I am trying to customize SEO URL slugs and encountered an issue
When I use variable meta-title in the url template, it works only for main products, not for variants, even if there is meta title inheritance enabled. But even when I check html of the variant page, meta title is not there. I don't know if you made it on purpose or it is a bug, but it means: I cannot use meta title variable for variants when creating a url.
This lead to my other thought: let's turn Use single canonical URL for all variants - because of course we do not want google to mark it as duplicates…

The product cards of the search results from AI should be exactly the same as the regular product cards
Hi,
It makes no sense why the product cards on the search results from AI are different from the standard product cards used at listings and the regular search results, or cross-selling sliders.
Now you can only click on the product to open the product detail page, while you would rather have a customer inform about the prices and provide the ability to add the products to the cart.

Overview pages - Filters: Add a "Select All" button
In our Admin we have several overview pages to check the products, orders and customers. These pages offer filtering based on different information. Currently you can only select single values in the filter.
For instance if you want to create filter, that only shows the products assigned to 24 of your 25 Saleschannels, you will need to select all 24 salechannels individually.
It would be more convenient, if we had a "Select All" button, where I can afterwards deselect the one Saleschannel, which I do not want in the results.
There are multiple filter options where this could…

Exclude Variants From Sitemap If Canonicals Are Used
Please implement an option that allows to exclude variants from sitemap generation. Especially in cases where all variants are using a cononical which points to the main product it would be good to exclude these kind of entries, which all refer to the same product anyway.

Split amount of product-listing items for different Devices
Right now, you can force SW to list as many items as you want in a category. Having 96 items on a category page may look good on desktop, but it slows down the mobile view by at least 2 seconds.
So, it would be a great feature to split the product listing view into Devices. For example, there are 24 items on mobile and 96 items on desktop.
User and Pagespeed would appreciate that.

Allow Product rules to be used on CMS block visibility
Currenty, the option for "Visibility" in a CMS block allows using Rulebuilder rules to pick if a block should be displayed or not.
Using this on a Product detail page is relatively useless, though, because there are no rules referring to the product being displayed. (There are rules regarding to products-in-carts, but those don't work here). So, request: Add an option to the rulebuilder that checks the currently-displayed-product that can be used on the CMS templates. Might be extended to "current category being displayed" for more flexibility, too.

Customer journey funnel builder
As a merchant I want to define certain actions (f.e. redirects) after steps/actions within the customer journey.
For example:
1. When an order is placed, redirect (or open) a special thank you page
2. When somebody fills out the support form redirect them to the FAQ page to possibly get a quicker answer
3. When a customer orders worth 1000 Euro send them to a hidden page with a loyalty program benefit1 vote
