  1. When I want to enter a search term in a search field of a form in the admin, I hardly have time to type in a complete search term. The time after pressing the key until the search is triggered gives me a maximum of (perceived) 200 milliseconds. For example, if I want to search for the word "Man", a brief hesitation leads to the content being deleted after entering "M" and then entering "A" leads to a completely different search result.

    At some points, the edit field also loses focus, so that I have to keep clicking in the…

  2. Currently, it is not possible to add translations for order, payment and delivery status as the entries appear to be hardcoded.

    There is an issue ticket already which was closed (despite having 18 votes, which seems like nothing to sneeze at), which can be found here:

    Contrary to what is written in that ticket, translations ARE used IF present and that is the issue really. They can't be added in the admin anywhere.

    We CAN circumvent this by adding them manually in the database, but we can't expect shop owners to do this because that way is rather technical…

  3. Based on the created manufacturers/brands, it should be possible to place their logos as an overview or slider into a shopping experience. A link could maybe show all products from this manufacturer/brand on a specific landing page.

  4. Payment methods currently have a white frame on the main page of the store. This is not the case for shipping methods and therefore results in a different appearance.

  5. Currently, orders are being tracked by google analytics on the confirmation page. Challenge: when you click "confirm" you need to connect to a payment provider and for example if your card has insufficient funds the order will be tracked but not actually gone through.
    Solution: Orders should only be tracked on the "finish"/success page - or even better: In the analytics tab in the sw6 admin, you should have a configuration that enables you to set the "location"/time when an order should be tracked acc. to your preference.

    Value for merchant: More realistic/reliant feedback on actual order numbers.

Currently, when customers want to change a variant of a product already added to the shopping basket — for example, choosing a different size or color — they are required to leave the basket or checkout and navigate back to the product detail page. This process interrupts the purchasing flow and increases the likelihood of order cancellations or customer frustration.

    With this enhancement, customers should be able to easily modify product variants directly from the basket or checkout interface.

    Functional Proposal:

    Add a variant selector for each product line item in the shopping basket and checkout.

  7. In many of our CMS projects, we regularly need to insert new sections into the middle of existing Shopping Experience pages.

    Problem:
    Currently, Shopware only allows new sections to be added at the top or bottom of the page. If you want to place a section between two existing ones, you must:

    Add the new section at the end or beginning.

    Manually drag and drop it up/down through the page structure.

    For longer pages, this is time-consuming and error-prone.

    Wish / Recommendation:
    A simple solution such as a “+” button between sections (like in many visual builders)…

  8. When you apply changes to products as an example, and you by mistake click on the "return to overview" button, all changes are lost. It would be nice, if before leaving the page, a pop up with a unsaved changes reminder would show up.

  9. There is an implementation in Shopware that the Buy button (into the shopping cart) is displayed directly in the list view if the product has no variants. This is implemented in such a way that the button is displayed if the product.childCount is <=0.
    However, this is problematic for international stores with multiple sales channels.   10. As a merchant, I want to choose different layouts for a product detail page depending on the sessions referer, to address these customers optimally

  11. When a user changes the unit in a product, this change is applied at the user level and stored in the database in the user_config table with the key measurement.preferenceUnit. If there is already a dedicated entry for this in the database, it would be nice if the selection could be changed directly in the user profile.

  13. The AI-generated checkout message sometimes takes 10 seconds to generate if there are many products in the shopping cart.

    Many customers close the page during this time. It would be better if the messages were generated in the background beforehand or if a faster AI model were used.

  14. If you create a shopping page in the shopping experiences, e.g. for shipping costs or payment methods, and insert the content there, the content is displayed in the modal window.

    If you now create a corresponding category for the store footer, you can assign the layout, but the content is not displayed when you click on the link in the footer.

    Unfortunately, there is obviously no variable available yet that can be used to achieve the data mapping.
    Just like the variable "category.description", a new variable such as "shopping.description" is therefore required.

It is currently not possible to integrate a background video - comparable to the display on https://scd.shopware.com/ - natively into a CMS page with the standard experience world elements in Shopware 6. Although video and HTML elements exist, these do not allow a combination of background video and overlaying content (e.g. text, buttons, HTML block).

    We have been waiting for this feature for a long time, a category layout created by us set as default layout, super, mega, awesome since SW6...... however, this category layout is applied to all our sales channels. This is unfortunately impractical as we have three different brand stores, and the category layouts can and should be visually different from each other.

    Example:

    Store 1 has custom category layout for its category pages

    Store 2 has custom category layout for its category pages

    Store 3 has custom category layout for its category pages

  17. If you work with the customer and order overview on a daily basis, this quickly leads to frustration.

    For example, the number per page cannot be set and is far too low. This should be 100 or 200. Otherwise the unnecessary effort is too high and the work quickly becomes frustrating.

    Also, the filter or listing is often reset when changing pages. This also takes an incredible amount of time.

    We would like to see better handling here.

  18. When I use variable meta-title in the url template, it works only for main products, not for variants, even if there is meta title inheritance enabled. But even when I check html of the variant page, meta title is not there. I don't know if you made it on purpose or it is a bug, but it means: I cannot use meta title variable for variants when creating a url.

    This lead to my other thought: let's turn Use single canonical URL for all variants - because of course we do not want google to mark it as duplicates…

  19. As a new customer, it would be nice if the delivery country selected in the shopping basket was also preselected on the customer registration page.

    Currently, I go to the shop, add an item to my shopping basket, select France as the delivery country (also to see the shipping costs for that country), then click on "Checkout" and am taken to the "Login/Registration page". There, Germany is set as the country again and I have to select "France" once more.

    Not really user-friendly!

  20. Hi,

    It makes no sense why the product cards on the search results from AI are different from the standard product cards used at listings and the regular search results, or cross-selling sliders.

    Now you can only click on the product to open the product detail page, while you would rather have a customer inform about the prices and provide the ability to add the products to the cart.
